National football team begins training for qualifiers against Palestine, South Korea
Ammon News - The national football team commenced its training last night in preparation for the decisive third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, ahead of matches against Palestine and South Korea. The team entered an internal training camp at a hotel in Amman before holding its first session in the evening at Petra Stadium in Al Hussein Youth City. Under the guidance of coach Jamal Salami, the training included local players and several overseas professionals, with the remaining squad members expected to join in the coming days. Jordan will face Palestine at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at Amman International Stadium before traveling directly to South Korea for a match against the hosts at 2:00 p.m. Jordan time on Tuesday, March 25, at Suwon World Cup Stadium.
