Minister of Transport reviews progress on key projects within Return to Life initiative

According to Hakomitna platform, the meeting focused on tracking the progress of several key development projects included in the Return to Life initiative. Discussions emphasized ongoing work on water infrastructure such as storage tanks and drinking water networks, the Schools of the Future initiative, the completion of maintenance work at several hospitals, the implementation of vital road networks, and the construction of a sports city in the Al-Aziziyah municipality. Transport minister opens Arab aviation summit in Rabat
Libya's Minister of Transport, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, has inaugurated an extraordinary session of the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) in the Moroccan capital. The high-level gathering on Thursday was attended by transport ministers from Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, along with delegations from other Arab League member states. Key discussions centred on coordinating Arab nominations for the Executive Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), ahead of its upcoming General Assembly meeting scheduled for the end of September. In his opening remarks, Al-Shahoubi stressed the need for unified Arab positions and enhanced cooperation to ensure strong representation within ICAO's decision-making body.
