Oman, Iran deepen cooperation with 18 pacts
Muscat – Oman and Iran signed 18 cooperation documents during the official visit of Iranian President Dr Masoud Pezeshkian to Muscat on Tuesday, reflecting efforts to strengthen bilateral relations across multiple sectors. The agreements – five cooperation agreements, ten memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and three executive programmes – were signed in the presence of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the Iranian president at Al Alam Palace. The agreements covers legal and judicial collaboration, including civil and criminal matters and extradition of sentenced individuals. President of Iran meets Omani, Iranian businessmen
Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran has met Omani businessmen and women and their Iranian counterparts to discuss mechanisms for strengthening trade and investment relations between the two countries at Al Alam Palace in Muscat. His Excellency the President of Iran, arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on a two-day official visit on Tuesday, May 27. A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said :"His Excellency the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran met today with a number of Omani businessmen and women and their Iranian counterparts to discuss mechanisms for strengthening trade and investment relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran, at Al Alam Palace in Muscat, as part of the official visit His Excellency is currently making to the country."

President of Iran accorded official reception at Al Alam Palace
Muscat: An official reception ceremony was held at Al Alam Palace today in honour of President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the occasion of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman. Upon the arrival of the Iranian President's motorcade at the courtyard of Al Alam Palace, a cavalcade from the Royal Cavalry lined up to welcome the Sultanate of Oman's esteemed guest. When the vehicle boarded by President Pezeshkian arrived at Al Alam Palace, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave a warm welcome to the President, wishing him and his accompanying delegation a pleasant stay in Oman and a successful visit. Then, His Majesty the Sultan accompanied President Pezeshkian to the dais where the Iranian national anthem was played, while the artillery fired a 21-gun salute to the President. After this protocol, His Majesty the Sultan shook hands with the official delegation accompanying President Pezeshkian. The President was greeted by Omani Royal dignitaries, ministers and military commanders.
