Tamkeen Supports the employment and career development of around 90 Bahraini employees at WestPoint Home W.L.L.
The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) announced its support for the employment and career development of around 90 Bahraini employees at WestPoint Home W.L.L., a leading textile manufacturing company, through its employment and career development support programs. Tamkeen's support for WestPoint Home W.L.L. is aligned with its strategic priorities for 2025, which focus on enhancing the position and competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector, equipping Bahrainis with suitable skills for career development in the private sector, and prioritizing enterprise growth, digitization, and sustainability, and supporting the development of the ecosystem surrounding the labor market and private sector. As a corner stone of Bahrain's non-oil economy, the Manufacturing Sector significantly contributes to economic growth. In 2024, it ranked as the second-largest contributor to GDP after the Financial and Insurance sector, accounting for 15.1% of total output. Tamkeen elevates Bahrainis at Sarens Nass

By investing in local talent, it has helped turn a crane and transport giant into a national workforce success story, where nearly 80 percent of employees are now Bahraini. Tamkeen, Bahrain's Labour Fund, announced its support for the employment and career development of 36 Bahrainis at Sarens Nass Middle East. The company, a joint venture between Bahrain's Nass Group and Belgium-based Sarens NV, provides heavy lifting, crane services, and specialised transport solutions across the GCC. 'We are proud to support Bahraini companies that prioritise the employment and professional growth of local talent,' said Khalid Al Bayat, Chief Growth Officer at Tamkeen. 'Sarens Nass has consistently demonstrated its commitment by utilising our programmes to hire, train, and reward Bahraini employees.'
