27 May 2025 22:10 DUBAI (WAM) Minister of Information of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, affirmed the ongoing and deepening media cooperation between the UAE and Bahrain, underpinned by dynamic partnerships that reflect the strength of fraternal ties between the two to WAM on the sidelines of the second day of the Arab Media Summit, Al Noaimi said that continued engagement between media officials in both countries contributes to strengthening cooperation and advancing joint media initiatives. He also expressed anticipation for the announcement of new collaborative revealed that Bahrain is preparing to launch several media initiatives, including the second edition of the Al Dana Drama Award, scheduled for mid-next month, which will spotlight outstanding Gulf drama noted the significant progress witnessed in drama production across the Noaimi highlighted the growth of Emirati drama in recent years, which has become evident through the high quality of works participating in both Gulf and Arab festivals, including Danat. Information Minister Acknowledges BJA's 25-Year Contribution to Bahraini Press

Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, congratulated Isa Al Shaiji, Chairman of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), on the 25th anniversary of its establishment. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized the significance of this milestone as an opportunity to highlight the influential role played by the BJA in maintaining the leading position of the Bahraini press. He noted that since its inception, the BJA has been instrumental in the development of the national press, with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted that the establishment of the BJA was a result of the vision of His Majesty the King. He stated that the press has significantly contributed to the comprehensive development observed in the Kingdom of Bahrain under His Majesty's leadership. He also acknowledged the BJA as a reflection of His Majesty's commitment to the impact of national journalism in enlightening society, promoting awareness of national issues, and upholding the value of truthful and responsible reporting. The 2025 Prime Minister's Journalism Award includes the following categories: The Best Column Award, The Best Investigative Journalism Award; The Best Journalistic Interview Award; The Best Journalistic Photo Award; The Best Newspaper Niche Page or Supplement Award; The Best Press Institution's Website or Electronic Account Award; The Best Visual Journalistic Content (video) Award; The Best Infographic Report Award; The Best University Student Journalism Project Award; and The 2024 Journalism Personality Award. The Journalist of the Year award will be presented to a media figure who has made a significant impact on the Bahraini press landscape. According to Bahrain News Agency, the documentary commemorates the silver jubilee of His Majesty's ascension to the throne, highlighting key development milestones and advancements in the Kingdom over the past twenty-five years.
