Taning Tea opening at 137 Newcastle St, Northbridge. Picture: Alan Chau / The West Australian Tea lovers descended on the Perth launch of a popular Chinese tea chain that is known for its lemon range, made by punching a lemon 25 times to extract the citrus goodness. Taning originates from Guangzhou and is known for its signature perfume lemon tea, a range of fruit-infused blends and plant-based options. Aside from the refreshing drink, a standout attraction at the launch event was the unveiling of 68 Gacha machines, which dispensed capsule toys featuring trendy figurines as random collectables. The machines were a huge hit with guests, who eagerly lined up to try their luck and collect their favourite characters. With more than 800 stores across many countries, Taning now brings the signature tea to Newcastle Street in Perth.
