Oak Forest Drive closed for sewer work
A Kernersville street will be closed during working hours this week while work continues on the Kernersville sewer rehabilitation project, Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities said.
A contractor will close Oak Forest Drive between West Mountain Street and the cul-de-sac on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 6, weather permitting.
The contractor is responsible for all traffic control. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and plan for alternate routes.
