Putin invites Lebanese President to first Russian-Arab Summit in Moscow
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun received a written letter from Russian President Vladimir Putin, delivered by Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rudakov. The letter included an invitation to attend the first Russian-Arab summit, scheduled to be held in Moscow on October 15. The summit aims to explore prospects for joint cooperation in political, economic, commercial, scientific, technological, humanitarian, and other fields.

Minister of Labor broaches situation with Russian ambassador, receives delegations from Beirut Doctors' Syndicate, Lebanese American University
NNA - Minister of Labor, Dr. Mohammad Haidar, on Monday received in his office, the Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Rudakov, who came on an acquaintance visit, during which they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region. Minister Haidar later met with a delegation from the Lebanese Doctors' Syndicate in Beirut, headed by Syndicate Dean Professor Youssef Bakhash, in the presence of the Director General of the National Social Security Fund, Dr. Mohammed Karaki. The discussion dealt with the Union's affairs and related matters. The Minister of Labor also received the President of the Lebanese American University, Dr. Shawqi Al-Abdullah, at the head of a delegation, with whom he discussed academic issues, in addition to cooperation prospects between the Ministry and the University. ============== L.Y
