EastEnders stars Kat Slater and Alfie Moon to marry for THIRD time on soap 20 years after first tying the knot

EASTENDERS' Kat Slater struggles to veil her emotions as she marries Alfie Moon for a THIRD time. The on-off lovers, played by Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie, are set to tie the knot again more than two decades after first saying 'I do'. 7 7 In one of this week's episodes, Kat is stunned when Alfie pops the question – and planning for the big day soon begins. But trouble is quickly looming – and the couple look far from overjoyed in these first-look pictures. There is even a chance Kat may not go through with it. The couple first married in the 2003 Christmas special, with Kat's dream of a white wedding coming true thanks to a snow machine Alfie hired for the occasion. They were ripped apart a year later when Kat's jealous ex, Andy Hunter, threatened to kill Alfie unless Kat slept with him. The pair divorced then remarried in 2014 – but that didn't last either. Kat subsequently had a brief failed marriage to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) before reuniting with Alfie. Let's hope it's third time lucky. EastEnders legend goes viral on TikTok with 16 year old clip from fitness DVD that's leaving fans HORRIFIED 7 JAMIE: ENEMIES? GORD NO 7 DESPITE describing Gordon Ramsay as a 'psychopath' in a viral social media clip earlier this year, Jamie Oliver has assured fans their long-running feud is not back on. The chefs fell out in 2009 when Gordon referred to his TV rival as a 'one-pot wonder', later labelling him a 'mere cook'. Jamie hit back that the Hell's Kitchen hothead was 'jealous' of his career and was 'too busy shouting and screaming'. But Jamie has now told The Sunday Times Magazine: 'Me and Gordon are absolutely friends – our little berating decade is behind us. 'He's smashing life at the moment. He's doing things that no chef has ever done. 'We're on good terms, and long may it continue.' GRACE IS BURGER QUEEN 7 SHE has dined at some of the world's top restaurants and is known for her withering put-downs of poor cuisine. But Celebrity MasterChef judge Grace Dent – tipped to replace Gregg Wallace when the show returns later this year – actually has some surprising secret tastes. She told Scott Mills on the Mercedes-Benz Vans Under the Bonnet podcast: 'I do love fast food, especially in service stations. People go, 'Oh I hate Burger King it's horrible.' But it's not. It's delicious. 'You can't put a price on stopping at a bog-standard service station at 11am.' But Grace admits she can't really do it now, due to her links with posh nosh. She said: 'People will just take photos of me because it's so comical.' BEEB HAS FAITH IN SPIN-OFF 7 THE Beeb's Faith show Pilgrimage has played host to some interesting stars over the years, from Christine McGuinness to Neil Morrissey. Now I can reveal it's getting a spin-off which will start filming this month. The programme's creators CTVC are working on the similar BBC project, which takes a deeper dive into religions and beliefs. The show has yet to get an official title but filming is set to wrap at the end of this summer – so it could be on our screens around this time next year. Pilgrimage has delivered steady ratings since it debuted in 2018 with its first adventure across Spain. Since then, it's taken a group of celebs on various treks in countries ranging from Italy and Turkey to Switzerland and Scotland. HARRY'S MAGIC PLAN HARRY MOULDING is already thinking about the future after triumphing on Britain's Got Talent on Saturday. The magician says his journey began when he was 11 years old and a conjurer came to his school. From that point Harry reckoned he was Harry Potter. He said of his teachers: 'I used to get my cards confiscated in class because I constantly wanted to perform my magic tricks to school friends. 'I'm sorry to the teachers who had to deal with my magic antics, but I hope they can see it was all worth it now. I'm grateful to my school. 'With the money, perhaps I can open the magic school, a BGT Hogwarts, and Simon Cowell could be the Dumbledor of BGTWarts.' I think he should come up with a catchier name though. LOVE Island has added another hunk to its roster just days before the new series kicks off – Londoner Tommy Bradley. An insider said: 'He's a cheeky chappy who enjoys a night out with the lads. "He's packed on serious muscle – so he's not just a personality hire.'

EastEnders confirms dark Kat and Alfie twist after romantic proposal

spoilers follow. EastEnders' Alfie Moon surprises Kat Slater next week when he asks her to marry him again – but things soon take a dark turn. With wedding planning underway, Kat makes a disturbing discovery about her fiancé, or so she assumes. Is there already trouble in paradise? "This will be Kat and Alfie's third attempt at tying the knot," begins our EastEnders insider, "that's if they actually make it to the big day. They've been on and off for 23 years, yet fate always seems to pull them back together. Will it be for keeps this time?" The inspiration for Alfie's proposal comes from him and Kat launching a business hiring out swanky limousines. It all starts when Harvey wants to buy a limo from his old mate Cheeky, only to find he can't afford it. Related: Best streaming services When the deflated driver tries to rope in fellow cabbies at Kat's firm as investors, his old boss is fuming, having still not forgiven him for breaking Jean's heart, and she scuppers his plans. Following some words of wisdom from Nicola, Harvey decides to ask Kat to be his business partner. She obviously refuses, though it does get her in an entrepreneurial mood. "Kat wants nothing to do with Harvey," notes our source. "But renting out swanky cars to posh punters sounds lucrative, so she steals Harvey's idea and decides to set up her own business with Alfie. She tries to strike a deal with Cheeky to buy his motor, but there's a snag." Related: Cheeky hikes the price up, so Kat is forced to ask Phil for an advance on her settlement for their impending divorce. She signs on the dotted line, but at the last minute, Cheeky reveals one final catch: if she wants the limo Kat must take on his silent business partner – who is it? While Kat reels from the revelation, Alfie plans a photo shoot of a fake wedding to promote their vehicle venture. He has the idea that he and Kat could be the happy couple in the photos, and he confides in pal Linda that he's thinking of popping the question. Being a die-hard romantic, Linda urges Alfie to ask his other half to make it official again, so he gets down on one knee at home – as heartwarming new images revealed over the weekend. Related: "Alfie seizes the moment and asks Kat to marry him," reveals our insider. "She's overjoyed – they've had their ups and downs, but this time it feels right. Kat says yes and Alfie is ecstatic." It looks set to be a very short engagement, as the pair waste no time in throwing a joint stag and hen party in the Vic, and Kat is thrilled when she discovers the theme of the night. However, the celebrations are curtailed when Kat discovers something sinister on the family computer. She is horrified and assumes Alfie is to blame – but does she have the wrong end of the stick, and is the engagement over already? EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. EastEnders confirms Kat and Alfie proposal - six months after reunion

follow. EastEnders has confirmed that there will be another proposal for Alfie Moon and Kat Slater in upcoming scenes. In scenes set to air in a few weeks, Alfie comes up with the idea of doing a wedding photoshoot to promote their new limo business. However, Kat is shocked when Alfie proposes to her, and says that they could be the bride and groom in the photo. The couple got back together about six months ago, as Alfie supported Kat when their son Tommy was being violent and the subsequent dealings with social services. Related: The Slaters have been through other heartbreaks recently, including Harvey Monroe cheating on Jean with Kathy Beale, and the aftermath of Martin Fowler's death, which led to Stacey and the kids departing the other day. Will this proposal lead to a well-deserved piece of happiness for the family? Related: Unfortunately, there's still set to be more trouble to come, as newcomer Joel Marshall recently showed Tommy a disturbing video. With Tommy relying on Joel as his first friend in a long time (he was so lonely recently he started talking to an AI chatbot), could he fall victim to his bad influence and repeat Joel's inexcusable behaviour? Meanwhile, next week will see a dramatic car accident play out, with multiple characters' lives at risk. EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. Yet after their relationship faltered, he quit Walford life for a cruise ship with his brother in summer 2013. Now Tony has kept his followers up-to-date with his off-camera life on social media. As well as his holiday images, he has uploaded snaps showing nights out with family and friends and recent bike rides. Alongside one recent image, a fan wrote: "Looking good." He added the thoughtful caption: "Memories" to on image showing him on the beach. Since his EastEnders exit, Kent-born actor Tony has been busy grafting off-screen.
