SLUG:REMUND Alias Abd Rani With Pic/Vid BATU PAHAT: A 44-year-old palm oil worker was remanded for seven days after he allegedly raped his two daughters for the past 11-years, with the latest incident suspected occurring last month. Magistrate Nurasidah A. Rahman, issued the remand order today to facilitate investigations under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape. The case was uncovered after the victims confided in a teacher, prompting school authorities and police to act. Initial investigations suggested the assaults took place while the mother was asleep at home. The suspect's wife, 43, was unaware of the abuse as the suspect allegedly threatened the victims to stay silent. Their father is said to have a volatile temper, threatened to beat the victims, which made them afraid to disobey him. In an unrelated case, a 15-year-old secondary school boy was also remanded for seven days on suspicion of sodomising a boy who was his classmate six times since last year. The suspect was detained after the victims' parents lodged a report claiming he had threatened their child.
