Speech event in Dhamar on Imam Ali martyrdom anniversary, National Steadfastness Day & International Al-Quds Day
Dhamar - Saba: The local authority and the General Mobilization Division in Al-Hayma Interior District, Sana'a Province, organized on Wednesday a speech event to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, and the National Resilience Day and International Al-Quds Day. In the event organized by the educational sector in the directorate, the head of the educational sector in the province, Talib Dahan, stressed the importance of reviving the last days and nights of the blessed month of Ramadan by increasing the remembrance of God, drawing closer to Him through obedience and worship, doing good deeds, inspecting the poor and embodying the social solidarity urged by the true Islamic religion. For his part, Directorate Director Kamal Al-Askari pointed out the significance of commemorating the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in conjunction with the National Day of Steadfastness and the International Al-Quds Day, to consolidate the values of sacrifice, courage and jihad in the souls and the lessons learned in strengthening steadfastness and consolidating its foundations to face the American aggression against the homeland and continue to support Gaza. For his part, the head of the educational sector in the directorate, Abdulkarim Al-Qaraafi, considered the holy month of Ramadan an educational station that reinforces the principles and values of the true Islamic religion, which combines jihad of the soul, jihad with money and soul, to achieve human justice, support the oppressed, and live in freedom and peace. Evening in Al-Hayma Al-Dakhiliyah commemorated Imam Ali martyrdom & 'Yawm Al Furqan'
Sana'a - Saba: The local council's leadership in Sana'a, in coordination with the mobilization in al-Jada'an district, commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, and 'Yawm Al Furqan' with an evening in al-Jada'an. During the evening in the village of Yanaa, the director of the district, Kamal al-Askari, pointed out the importance of commemorating 'Yawm Al Furqan' and the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, because of the connotations that embody the fruits of sacrifice and jihad for the sake of God. He urged to embody the biography and life of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in today's reality and to sincerely turn to jihad for the sake of Allah, in order to live with honor and dignity in this life and achieve success in the hereafter. Al-Askari emphasized that the only solution for the Islamic nation to emerge from the quagmire of humiliation, and stagnation is a serious return to the Holy Qur'an, following the footsteps of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), and following Allah, His Messenger and his family by implementing the Qur'anic march project led by Sayyid Abdul Malik Al-Houthi. He called for an honorable exit and wide participation in the commemoration of International Al-Quds Day next Friday, to emphasize the steadfastness of the Yemeni position in supporting Gaza and steadfastness against God's enemies until the Palestinians achieve their legitimate rights and declare an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital. For his part, Ibrahim Hamiduddin, Director of Education at the office of the General Authority for Zakat in the province, stressed the importance of seizing the opportunity of the remaining days and nights of the holy month by approaching God with good deeds, worshiping, increasing dhikr, reciting the Qur'an , studying its meanings, and complying with its commands and prohibitions. He reviewed the lessons of the Great Battle of Badr and the comparison between the state of Muslims before and after 'Yawm Al Furqan' , and the related paradoxes between the state of Yemenis before , after, and the honorable Yemeni position towards the grievances of Gaza people , as opposed to the shameful Arab and Islamic position. Event Marking Anniversaries of Conquest of Mecca, Battle of Badr, & Martyrdom of Imam Ali in Bani Al-Harith, Sana'a
Sana'a - Saba: The Security and Police Sector of the Ministry of Interior organized a speech event in the Jadar neighborhood and Bani Al-Harith district in Sana'a, to mark the anniversaries of the Conquest of Mecca, the Battle of Badr, and the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (AS). A number of security leaders attended the Cultural activist Dr. Khaled Al-Qarouti delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of drawing lessons from the life of Imam Ali (AS), his bravery, and his role in supporting Islam. He also highlighted the significance of commemorating the Conquest of Mecca and the Battle of Badr as pivotal moments in Islamic history. Al-Qarouti pointed out that the Yemeni people's current struggle against major powers like America, Israel, and Britain is an extension of those historical events that changed the course of the nation. He called for utilizing the month of Ramadan to draw closer to God and to strengthen resilience and steadfastness, especially in light of the challenges Yemen faces due to its supportive stance on the Palestinian cause. "Al-Qurban" strikes again in Dhi Qar, a young man suicided
Shafaq News/On Monday, a young man has died by suicide in his home in southern Dhi Qar province, the latest victim linked to the extremist 'Al-Qurban' group, according to an Iraqi security source. Since the rise of the 'Al-Qurban' group, dozens of suicide cases, mostly in Dhi Qar, have been recorded. This has led Iraqi authorities to intensify efforts to infiltrate and dismantle the group. The latest security operation targeting the group took place in Maysan province on February 14, when the Iraqi National Security Service arrested ten members of 'Al-Qurban' and foiled an intended suicide plot within the group. "Al-Qurban," also known as "Ali - Allahiya," is a radical religious group that promotes distorted beliefs, including the divinity of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib and self-sacrifice during religious observances. In July 2024, Iraqi security forces arrested 39 members of the group across various provinces, including Wasit, Basra, Al-Muthanna, and Al-Diwaniyah, after they carried out extreme rituals, including suicide attempts. The 'Al-Qurban' group is banned in Iraq, with the country's laws criminalizing membership in any group that promotes extremist ideologies or incites violence.
