Nearly 300 workers trapped in South African gold mine

Russia, Ukraine trade blows over strikes, testing U.S.-led truce
Russia's defense ministry said on Saturday (April 5) Ukraine had increased its attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, despite a U.S.-brokered moratorium, after Ukrainian officials said a deadly Russian strike killed at least nine children in the city of Kryvyi Rih.
