Bucs bring a new offensive quality control coach to Josh Grizzard's new staff
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have hired a new offensive quality control coach, Blaine Stewart, who previously coached wide receivers at the University of West Virginia.
Stewart had spent three years with the Mountaineers as both a tight end coach and an inside receivers coach, in which one of his players was a two-time All-Big 12 Conference award winner. Stewart previously worked in the NFL under Mike Tomlin as a coaching assistant for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was also a wide receiver at James Madison from 2013 to 2015 and then at the University of Charleston from 2016 to 2017.
Stuart brings a lengthy résumé of general offensive knowledge and will likely help with the practice squad and review film to enhance the offense's overall performance.
With Josh Grizzard being a first-time offensive coordinator, having someone on the staff who has worked under such a prolific coach, and Mike Tomlin, as well as multiple positions on offense, will only make the offense more dangerouss as they have wrinkles with their newest additions.
