GAA fans pick their greatest ever championship moments
As championship season sweeps the nation, GAA fans are looking back and sharing the greatest moments that have defined their love of the game.
Iconic wins, emotional breakthroughs and unforgettable days live long in the memory of supporters around the country.
A new Golden Moments campaign from Solgar has revealed that Offaly's 1994 All-Ireland hurling triumph over Limerick, Clare's 1995 All-Ireland breakthrough after an 81-year drought and Dublin's historic six-in-a-row in 2020 were among the top memories. The Laois Ladies' All-Ireland victory in 2001, Cork Ladies' remarkable dominance with 11 titles between 2005 and 2016 and Galway Camogie's 2013 All-Ireland win also featured prominently.
The research from Solgar also showed the lengths that GAA fans will go to in support of their county.

Supporters have also cancelled their holiday plans (12%) to see their county in action. Remarkably, more than one in every ten (11%) respondents between the ages of 18 and 24 have a tattoo celebrating their team's performance in the championship.
When it came to inter-county players, Kilkenny hurler Henry Shefflin, Galway hurler Joe Canning and Dublin footballer Stephen Cluxton were ranked among the most iconic with Mayo Ladies footballer Cora Staunton and Kilkenny Camogie player Katie Power also featuring.
