Barbie Forteza all praises for Kyline Alcantara: 'She's very delightful and generous'
Barbie Forteza is all praises for her friend and "Beauty Empire" co-star Kyline Alcantara. In her GMA Integrated News interview with Nelson Canlas, which aired in "24 Oras" Tuesday, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared that this is the first time she and Kyline worked together in a teleserye. "Nakakatrabaho ko na po siya dati sa 'All-Out Sundays,' sumasayaw na kami together, nag-s-spiels na kami together pero ngayon ko lang siya na-experience as an actress at masasabi ko na she's very delightful and generous," praised Barbie. "She's very genuine when it comes to giving emotions sa eksena. Marunong siyang magtimpla ng eksena at tsaka malalim 'yung hugot niya bilang aktor," she added. Barbie and Kyline's friendship has gotten even deeper as they started working together in "Beauty Empire." In Kyline's previous GMA Integrated News interview, she shared that she has wanted to work with Barbie since she started in GMA Network in 2018. "Right now, I have the privilege of working with her, so ang sarap po sa pakiramdam. As in idol ko po talaga at lagi ko naman sinasabi 'yan kay Barbie pag nagkaka-eksena pa rin kami. Hanggang ngayon may konting kaba pa rin at nginig pa rin sa baba kapag ka-eksena ko si Barbie kasi napakagaling po ni Barbie," said Kyline. The two stars also bond outside of taping. Per Kyline, they like going out for coffee together; she has also ventured into running thanks to Barbie. During Kyline's guesting in "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on July 11, she could not help but turn emotional as she shared how Barbie helped her cope with her recent heartbreak. She added that their relationship right now is more than just being coworkers, agreeing with Tito Boy that they are like sisters. Kyline and Barbie star together in "Beauty Empire" with Ruffa Gutierrez, Gloria Diaz, Chai Fonacier, and more. It airs Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Network. Choi Bo Min, Kyline Alcantara sing 'Nakaraang Buhay' in 'All-Out Sundays'
Choi Bo Min and Kyline Alcantara just serenaded the "All-Out Sundays" viewers with a heartfelt duo song! The "Beauty Empire" stars shared the AOS stage together and had a kilig performance of Bo Min's debut Tagalog single "Nakaraang Buhay." In "Beauty Empire," Bo Min plays the role of Alex, while Kyline is Shari De Jesus. Aside from Bo Min and Kyline, "Beauty Empire" also stars Barbie Forteza as Noreen, Ruffa Gutierrez, Sid Lucero, and Gloria Diaz among others. Produced by GMA Public Affairs and based on an original concept by CreaZion Studios, "Beauty Empire" dives deep into the intense rivalries and high-stakes drama among powerful women as they navigate the beauty industry driven by ambition, revenge, and power. The story will follow the life of Noreen (Barbie), a rags-to-riches beauty entrepreneur who is out to tear down the empire that her enemies have built. She goes head-to-head against Shari, a crass but social media-famous beauty CEO who is mentored by Velma Imperial (Ruffa), Noreen's idol and a powerful industry veteran whose ties to her go beyond business. 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' Big Four grace 'All-Out Sundays' stage
The Big Four duo housemates of the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" graced the "All-Out Sundays" stage! Fresh from the PBB Big Night on Saturday, big winners Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo (BreKa), along with big placers Ralph De Leon and Will Ashley (RaWi), Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (ChaRes), and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer), kicked off their guesting with a short performance of PBB's official soundtrack "Sikat ang Pinoy," joined by fellow housemates Josh Ford, Michael Sager, and Vince Maristela. After their short dance number, the housemates played a fun game called "Barkada-oke," where they were split into two teams: Team Collab Cuties and Team Kuya's Angels. The rules were simple—each member had to sing a song while skipping a specific assigned letter in the lyrics. If a player accidentally sang a word containing the forbidden letter, they'd receive a playful punishment: a faceful of pillow powder. Team Collab Cuties—composed of Ralph, Will, AZ, River, Michael, and Vince—went first and performed the song "Dilaw" by Maki. Their forbidden letter was "K." By the end of the round, the team made two mistakes, with Vince and River receiving the playful pillow powder punishment. Team Kuya's Angels—composed of Mika, Brent, Charlie, Esnyr, and Josh—performed the song "Dahil Sa 'yo" by Iñigo Pascual, with "M" as their forbidden letter. The team made only one mistake, resulting in Josh receiving the pillow powder punishment. The Big Night hailed BreKa as the big winner with RaWi as the second big placer.
