Tinashe and Teezo Touchdown to headline UMass Amherst spring concert
AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – UMass Amherst has announced that artists Tinashe and Teezo Touchdown will be headlining the highly anticipated Spring Concert at the Mullins Center. The event, which has a long-standing tradition of featuring major artists—including past performances from Flo Rida, Steve Aoki, and even Bob Dylan—is open to the entire community. Alongside the two headliners, some of UMass Amherst's top student performers will also take the stage, making it a celebration of both national talent and local artistry. 'This event is more than just a concert—it's a chance to bring together people of all ages, foster a sense of community, and solidify the Spring Concert as a signature event for Western Massachusetts,' said Valentina Ravaioli, Marketing Director for UPC. This year's headliners bring a mix of R&B, hip-hop, and alternative energy to the stage. Tinashe, a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and dancer, is known for hits like '2 On' and 'All Hands on Deck,' blending smooth vocals with cutting-edge production. Meanwhile, Teezo Touchdown, a rising star in alternative hip-hop and rock, has made waves with his genre-bending sound and eccentric style, earning him a growing fan base and critical acclaim.
