THE funeral details of Eanna Rouine have been confirmed following his sad death. Requiem mass will take place on Sunday June 1st at 1pm followed by burial in Kilmacreehy Cemetery. Rouine represented Clare at minor and U20 level while he also won an All-Ireland Freshers Football title at the University of Limerick, where he was a second year student. Ennistymon's Éanna Rouine represented Clare footballers at minor and under-20 level in recent years and had also starred for his school, Ennistymon CBS, before going on to enjoy more success with UL freshers having spent two years in the college. He passed away on Tuesday morning, the day after his club had pleaded for prayers as he was 'bravely fighting to stay with us'. Ennistymon GAA has now paid tribute to someone they described as 'a truly talented and accomplished sportsman'. 'But much more than that,' they posted on Facebook, 'he was intelligent, witty, a strong academic performer, a talented musician, a loyal friend and a loving son, grandson and brother.
