Honkers bats go quiet as team loses eighth straight game
Jun. 14—DULUTH — The Rochester Honkers pitching was solid, but the bats didn't follow on Saturday afternoon.
The Duluth Huskies scratched out a 4-1 Northwoods League victory in front of 677 fans at Wade Stadium, sending the Honkers to their eighth consecutive loss.

Honkers starter Ethan Dillinger put together a quality start, throwing went six innings, allowing two runs on four hits, with four walks and four strikeouts.
Jacob Tostado pitched the final two innings, allowing two runs on four hits.
Rochester (5-14) couldn't touch Duluth's pitchers, though. The Honkers managed just one run and two hits in the loss.
Shortstop Allan Camarillo had both of Rochester's hits, while Kennedy Hara had an RBI.
Rochester closes its two-game series at Duluth at 3:05 p.m. Sunday.
