Man, 23, arrested after riding ‘suspected stolen motorbike' in Newport
A 23-year-old man was arrested after riding a suspected stolen bike' in Newport.
During patrols in the Alway area, police officers were alerted to a motorbike being ridden dangerously.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: 'Thanks to their quick response, officers located the bike, which is suspected to have been stolen the day before.
'The motorbike has now been recovered. A 23-year-old male is in custody on suspicion of Robbery.
'As part of the investigation, a further suspected stolen motorbike has also been recovered. Great teamwork and fast action from our officers to keep the community safe.'
