Tigers take Maine lefthander Caleb Leys, a Rhode Island native, in fourth round of MLB Draft
After missing all of 2024 following Tommy John surgery, Leys bounced back with an excellent 2025, posting a 2.69 ERA in 14 starts as the bright spot of a struggling Maine pitching staff.
Leys was named America East Pitcher of the Year after going 5-0 with a 1.10 ERA in league play.
