‘It Ain't Necessarily So' discusses American Black history
OWEGO, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – An afternoon of music and storytelling is coming to the Tioga County Historical Society.
On June 14, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., the historical society is hosting 'It Ain't Necessarily So,' an American Black History event. It will feature original pieces written by Brenda Cave James as well as historical spirituals performed by Brenda Cave James, Regina Ezell, and Kathye Edwina Arrington.
The program will be held in the Main Gallery on the upper level of the museum, located at 110 Front Street in Owego.
The program is free and open to the public.
