Hopkins County student show off new health clinic
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Tri-state students are in San Antonio, Texas at the American Farm Bureau Convention where they are showing off a new project aiming to help people across the world.
FFA and AG students at Madisonville North Hopkins High School have been working to convert a 40-foot long shipping container into a health clinic.
We're told the clinic is being sent to Liberia to give healthcare access to thousands of people.
Students say it's been a great experience to show off their project while at the convention.
More than 450 students were involved with the building of the health clinic.
