UFC legend reveals Brock Lesnar's ‘banned' WWE status
The post UFC legend reveals Brock Lesnar's 'banned' WWE status appeared first on ClutchPoints. According to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, WWE star Brock Lesnar is on the 'banned list' amid his indefinite hiatus. If this is true, this could spell the end of Lesnar's professional wrestling career. During an interview on the MIghycast podcast, Cormier debunked the idea of facing Lesnar in WWE (1:13:00 mark). He claimed Lesnar was on a 'banned list,' though he didn't specify if it was from WWE, UFC, or their parent company, TKO. 'I mean, Brock is on the banned list right now,' Cormier revealed. 'Brock got into so much trouble… I ain't telling you on-air what Brock did, [but] Brock is in so much trouble.' That makes it sound like Lesnar will not be coming back to WWE anytime soon. Whether he is 'banned' from WWE or TKO altogether, it does not look good for him. Why is WWE star Brock Lesnar on the 'banned list'? Lesnar has not been seen in WWE since August 2023. He faced Cody Rhodes in the rubber match of their feud at SummerSlam. Afterward, he raised Rhodes' arm, seemingly passing the torch to the 'American Nightmare.' While he was supposed to return at the Royal Rumble in January 2024, Lesnar was pulled from his plans. This was due to a former WWE employee, Janel Grant, filing a lawsuit against Vince McMahon. Initially, Lesnar was not specifically named in the lawsuit. However, it was heavily implied that he was involved, as McMahon tried to traffic Grant to Lesnar during his contract negotiations to return to WWE in 2021. Later, in February 2025, Lesnar was officially named in the lawsuit. WWE and TKO have continued to withhold Lesnar from returning to the ring. It is unclear if he will ever get back in the squared circle. It would almost be a surprise at this point. Since coming back to wrestling in 2021, Lesnar has predominantly been a babyface. This was a drastic change from his previous tenures, during which he usually played the heel. Lesnar feuded with Roman Reigns over the Universal Championship upon his return. Their longstanding feud culminated at the 2022 SummerSlam event. After that, he had matches with Bobby Lashley, Omos, and Rhodes. Another conviction for ‘American Nightmare' rapist Matthew Muller. Here's his latest crime
Matthew Muller, the convicted rapist who became the subject of the TV series 'American Nightmare,' has been given additional life sentences, according to the El Dorado County district attorney's office. In a statement released on Thursday, officials said that Muller was convicted in connection with a 2015 home invasion in Contra Costa County. This is the latest of multiple convictions that have been brought to light since Muller was sentenced to 40 years in prison for a Vallejo kidnapping and sexual assault in 2015. The case garnered national attention and became the focus of the true crime series, which was released last year. In 2015, Muller invaded the home of Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn. Muller bound and drugged the couple, before putting Huskins in Quinn's car and taking her to his family's cabin in South Lake Tahoe. Muller sexually assaulted her and kept her at the cabin for two days before releasing her at Huntington Beach. A complicated and faulty investigation followed, with the Vallejo Police Department and FBI officials initially believing that Huskins and Quinn had orchestrated the events. Two months later, a home invasion in Dublin led authorities to link Muller to the kidnapping of Huskins. Shortly thereafter, Muller pleaded no contest to one count of aggravated kidnapping, and in 2022 he pleaded guilty to sexual assault. He's currently serving his 40-year sentence in Tucson. The home invasion that Muller was most recently convicted of happened just two weeks after that of Huskins and Quinn, but it was never reported to authorities at the time, according to the district attorney's statement. The case was investigated by the El Dorado County district attorney's office, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department and the FBI — an effort driven by 'the persistence' of Huskins and Quinn, Seaside Police Chief Nick Borges and Detective Misty Carausu, the statement said. The district attorney's release does not say who initially tipped off authorities to the crime, but it does say that a multi-day interview in Tucson took place between authorities and Miller. Officials said Muller provided them a rough diagram of the location, and authorities said they used Google Maps to find the home he described. In the interview, Muller said he used a ladder to get into the second story of the home. He disposed of the ladder in a nearby ravine while he was departing the area, the release said. Last month, Muller pleaded guilty to a 32-year-old kidnapping and sexual assault — his earliest known crime, according to the release. He was sentenced to 11 years to life in prison. Officials said Muller admitted to these crimes in the same Tucson interview. Muller has an additional life sentence without the possibility of parole after he pleaded guilty to two 2009 home invasions in Santa Clara County. 'It's a shame it has taken 10 years to correct the mistakes made in the original investigation that permitted Muller to terrorize two additional families,' El Dorado County Dist. Atty. Vern Pierson said. 'Poor interview and investigation practices permitted these additional families to be victimized.' Huskins and Quinn will soon be given the California District Attorneys Assn.'s Witness of the Year Award, 'in recognition of their perseverance and commitment to justice,' the release said.

‘American Nightmare' kidnapper Matthew Muller just got another life sentence
Matthew Muller, the former Marine and Harvard-educated lawyer at the center of the 2024 Netflix documentary 'American Nightmare,' received another life sentence Thursday in connection with a newly unearthed 2015 home invasion in Contra Costa County. Muller, 48, pleaded no contest to one count of aggravated kidnapping in the San Ramon case and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole by Contra Costa County Superior Court Judge David Goldstein. 'American Nightmare' kidnapper gets 2 life sentences for Bay Area home invasions, sexual assaults The conviction stems from a crime that took place just weeks after Muller's now-infamous abduction and sexual assault of Denise Huskins in Vallejo. That case, initially dismissed by Vallejo police as a hoax, garnered national attention and resulted in a $2.5 million settlement for Huskins and her partner, Aaron Quinn. The San Ramon home invasion remained unreported for nearly a decade until Muller confessed during a multi-day interview with authorities in Tucson, Arizona. Investigators, using a rough diagram Muller drew and Google Maps, identified the home he described. Muller admitted entering through a second-story window using a ladder, which was later found in a nearby ravine. In the spring of 2015, Muller held two men and a woman hostage, demanding $37,000 in ransom. Fearing retaliation, the victims did not report the incident until after Muller's confession. 'It's a shame it has taken 10 years to correct the mistakes made in the original investigation that permitted Muller to terrorize two additional families,' said El Dorado County District Attorney Vern Pierson. Muller has now been convicted in multiple counties for a string of home invasions and sexual assaults dating back to 1993. He is currently serving a 40-year federal sentence in Tucson and will not be eligible for parole until his late 80s or early 90s.
