Fatima Fertilizer's Sarsabz Tabeer launches healthcare initiative
LAHORE: As part of its ongoing commitment to empower rural women and female farmers, Fatima Fertilizer, under its flagship Sarsabz Tabeer initiative, has launched a new health-focused intervention in collaboration with Mukhtar A. Sheikh Memorial Welfare Hospital (MASH) and the Government of Punjab. The first Free Medical Camp under this new health initiative was successfully held on June 26th at THQ Hospital Kehrorpaka, Lodhran, targeting underserved communities where access to quality healthcare remains a challenge. The camp provided free medical consultations and medicines to a total of 400 participants including female farmers, children and their families, with a panel of specialists from various fields, including Gynecology, Pediatrics, Nephrology, Family Medicine, Neurology, and Ophthalmology. The event was attended by Multan Division Commissioner Amir Kareem Khan, Assistant Commissioner Ashraf Saleh Khan, and Babar Khan Marketing Head, who led the camp on behalf of MASH, along with Noor Malik, Brand Manager at Fatima Fertilizer. Transporters face action for overcharging
Commissioner Amir Kareem Khan said that a crackdown against transporters involved in overcharging and overloading was ongoing and special squads started functioning to check the malpractice and save commuters from inconvenience ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. A control room was set up at general bus stand and various squads were formed to check the violators, commissioner said that secretary RTA would personally visit the city to check illegalities to provide relief to the people. He ordered displaying fare list prominently at all bus stations and general bus stand and provision of quality food items and clean drinking water there.

First instalment paid
MULTAN: Commissioner Amir Kareem Khan has said beneficiaries of 'Apni Chat Apna Ghar' scheme had received the first instalment worth Rs750,000 each in Multan, an initiative that started turning their own-home dreams into reality. During a visit to under-construction homes, commissioner interacted with beneficiaries who had obtained loans under the scheme and congratulated them on obtaining home ownership.
