Amiri Guard opens recruitment for Qatari nationals aged between 18 to 30 years
According to a report on Al Raya, the Amiri Guard has announced the opening of recruitment for Qatari citizens, with applications to be submitted at Barzan Camp, during the weekdays from Sunday to Thursday. As per the report, applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old, possess good conduct, and have no prior convictions for crimes involving dishonour or dishonesty. They must also not have been dismissed from military service for disciplinary reasons and should hold a high school diploma or lower qualification. Passing a personal interview is required. Amiri Guard Commander Lieutenant General Staff Hazza bin Khalil Al Shahwani participated in the opening of the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF), held in Istanbul, Turkiye. The Amiri Guard commander and his accompanying delegation toured several pavilions of participating countries and international companies and were briefed on their most prominent exhibits showcasing advanced defense technologies and systems as well as the latest innovations in the military and security industries.
