Backus Hospital doctor behind new shoulder surgery protocol
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Shoulder surgery is a common procedure performed by orthopedic surgeons nationwide.
Joining Good Morning Connecticut at 9 a.m. to talk about a new shoulder arthroplasty procedure performed with a mako robot, was Dr. Ammar Anbari, an orthopedic surgeon at Backus Hospital in Norwich.
Anbari is one of 16 surgeons worldwide who helped develop this new protocol.
