The Clemson Tigers face USC Upstate in the Clemson Regional of 2025 NCAA Baseball Tournament at Doug Kingsmore Stadium today.
Clemson (44-16 overall) enters the 64-team tournament field as the No. 11 overall seed. As the top seed in their four-team, double-elimination regional, the Tigers host the No. 4 seed Spartans (36-23), the No. 2 seed West Virginia Mountaineers (41-14) and No. 3 seed Kentucky Wildcats this weekend.
Clemson enters the NCAA Tournament after winning three games at last week's ACC Tournament in Durham to reach the conference championship game, where they fell to North Carolina.
USC Upstate won the Big South conference tournament with a 14-2 clubbing of Charleston Southern to secure their first-ever berth in an NCAA regional. The Spartans and Clemson met during the regular season on March 4 in Greenville, a 7-0 Tigers victory.
Right-hander Drew Titsworth (5-1,, 4.26 ERA) will start today's game for Clemson. He'll be opposed by right-hander Amp Phillips (7-2, 3.58).

Clemson baseball vs. USC Upstate prediction, game picks
Prediction: Upsets can happen in any regional this time of year, and Clemson head coach Erik Bakich said on Thursday that the Tigers' opponent was no ordinary No. 4 seed.
"They've had a monster year and just have a lot of power hitters and 5-6 guys with double-digit homers and are coming off a dogpile," Bakich said of the Spartans. "We know they're feeling really good and confident and hot. We have a lot of respect for them, their program. Their program's always been good, but they certainly have been playing with some extra juice this year."
Even so, this year's Clemson team seems more than capable of taking the next step in Year 3 under Bakich. That would mean reaching the College World Series in Omaha after the Tigers made their first Super Regional appearance in 14 years a season ago.

Clemson NCAA Tournament history
