Working with Sunil Dutt Recalling the two most iconic films Vyjayanthimala did with Sunil Dutt - 'Sadhana' and 'Amrapali,' the actress shared, 'I would rate these as among my best. I think we did two other films together, Kishore Sahuji's Kismet Ke Khel and Jhoola, which, if my memory serves me correctly, was written by the great lyricist Rajender Krishna.' Sunil Dutt was a confident and secure alpha male Elaborating further, the actress said, 'Dutt Saab was a very supportive co-star. Both 'Sadhana' and 'Amrapali' revolved around my character. In 'Sadhana', he played an educated man who takes a sex worker home to be his wife. It was a reformist character, and he played it with conviction. Amrapali needed a soldier hero. Dutt Saab fitted the bill perfectly,' she continued. 'Interestingly, in both Sadhana and Amrapali, I had all the songs sung by Lataji. Not once Dutt Saab insisted with the director, mujhe bhi gaane do. He was a very confident and secure alpha male,' exclaimed Vyjayanthimala as she reminisced about the legendary star. Odisha's women farmers export mangoes to Italy, reaping global rewards

Jyotirmayee Pradhan, a woman farmer from Odisha's Dhenkanal district, has scarcely travelled beyond her home State, let alone boarded a flight to Italy. Yet, this summer, her mangoes have journeyed farther than she ever has. Demand for the fruit has been so consistent that new orders arrive even before the previous consignments are unpacked. Together with a cohort of women farmers, Ms. Pradhan has mastered the practice of harvesting mangoes without a blemish, sorting them by size, and packaging them to meet the standards of international markets. From the orchards of central Odisha to cities across Europe, the mango export initiative led by women farmers has emerged as a story of quiet resilience and enterprise. Ms. Pradhan is a board member of the Baladevju Women Farmers Producer Company Limited, a women-led Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) with over 1,000 shareholders. The FPO has achieved a turnover of ₹1 crore by exporting mangoes to Dubai. Promoted by consulting firm Grant Thornton Bharat and supported by HDFC Bank's Parivartan under the STREE (Social and Transformative Rural Economic Empowerment) programme, the FPO has begun exporting Amrapali mangoes to European countries. As of Wednesday, the FPO has shipped five consignments amounting to 10 tonnes of mangoes to Italy. By the end of the mango season in June, it plans to export over 50 tonnes. The initiative is benefiting more than 100 women mango orchard owners. Grant Thornton Bharat, in association with the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), has engaged with over 33 FPOs across eight districts in Odisha. These collaborations have focused on addressing challenges in post-harvest management through capacity-building exercises. A turning point for the initiative was a training session on post-harvest handling of fruits, specifically tailored for women farmers. Support from government agencies followed, including assistance for constructing cold storage facilities, procurement of plastic crates, transportation from field to aggregation points, and storage rent subsidies. Aid was also extended towards value addition and processing. 'The collaboration has helped us set free from the compulsion of leasing out our orchards to local dealers, which had been limiting our income. By adopting proper methods of mango plucking and packaging in line with international and European standards, we have connected with global buyers and secured higher returns for our local produce,' Padmini Sahoo, another member of the Baladevju Women Farmers Producer Company Limited, said. Dhenkanal district, with 9.34 hectares under mango cultivation, primarily of varieties such as Amrapali, Lengada, and Keshari, holds significant export potential.

Release Date: May 30, 2025 For the complete transcript of the earnings call, please refer to the full earnings call transcript. NBCC India Ltd (BOM:534309) achieved a significant 34% year-on-year growth in profit after tax for the quarter. The company secured a historical amount of business, with a 265% increase in standalone business secured from the previous year. NBCC's order book has crossed the 1 trillion mark, highlighting exponential growth in the redevelopment sector. The company successfully sold around 6,800 residential units in the Amrapali Phase two project, aiding project execution. NBCC ranked second among all CPACs and first in the consultancy and construction sector according to the Department of Public Enterprises' performance rating. The company faced an exceptional item of INR 95.65 crore due to environmental clearance issues in Kerala, impacting financial results. There are pending environmental clearances for some projects, which could delay execution timelines. The company has a conservative revenue guidance for the current year despite a strong order book, due to potential delays in statutory approvals. NBCC's real estate projects are subject to market risks and require significant time for completion and revenue recognition. The company faces competition from other government agencies like IRCON and Bridge and Roof in securing new projects. Q: Given the order book of 120,000 crore on a consolidated basis, what is the duration for executing these orders? Also, what revenue can we expect for the current financial year? A: Typically, PMC projects take 2-3 years to complete, while redevelopment projects require 3-4 years due to the need for clearances and funding. We aim to achieve a revenue of more than 15,000 to 16,000 crore this year. Regarding the exceptional item, it is a one-time occurrence related to environmental issues in Kerala, and not recurring. (Respondent: Unidentified_3, Unidentified_5) Q: What is the breakdown of the order book in terms of PMC and redevelopment? Also, can you explain the exceptional item related to the Kerala project? A: The order book consists of 48% PMC and 52% redevelopment. The Kerala project is a developed project where environmental clearance was not initially required. However, due to a Supreme Court ruling, we have provided for a loss of INR 80 crore as a precaution. (Respondent: Unidentified_3, Unidentified_5) Q: What is the expected order intake for the current year, and are there any specific projects you anticipate securing soon? A: We expect to add around 22,000 to 25,000 crore in orders, with discussions ongoing with various state governments, including Rajasthan, Telangana, and Andaman and Nicobar. (Respondent: Unidentified_3) Q: Can you provide guidance on the revenue and profitability for the next few years? A: For the next three years, we target a topline of around 25,000 crore and a bottom line of around 2,000 crore. The order book is expected to reach 1.5 to 2 lakh crore. (Respondent: Unidentified_3) Q: How does NBCC plan to capitalize on opportunities in the Mumbai market? A: We have signed an MOU with Mahapreet for redevelopment projects in Thane and other areas, valued at around 25,000 crore. We are also targeting distressed properties and underutilized land parcels for redevelopment. 50 quintals of Balangir mangoes exported to Europe

Balangir: In a move to tap high-value markets for local horticultural produce, two farmer producer organisations (FPOs) from Titilagarh in Balangir district have successfully exported a 50-quintal consignment of assorted mango varieties to Europe and supplied another 20 quintals to Mother Dairy in New Delhi over the past week. ASSA is a local non-governmental organization that promotes and guides the FPOs by providing training, capacity building, and assistance in buyer negotiations. "This marks a turning point for mango farmers in the region, who have traditionally depended on local markets with inconsistent pricing. Through collective action, aggregation, and direct market linkages with institutional buyers like Mother Dairy, we are witnessing real benefits reaching the grassroots level," said Bivek Kumar Nayak, district development manager, NABARD. Plans are already underway to increase the volume of produce and include other seasonal fruits and vegetables in future consignments. "This initiative, as a replicable model for FPO-led horticulture marketing, will be scaled up in different areas of the district," stated Sanjib Kumar Pattnaik, secretary, ASSA. More than 25 small mango farmers have benefited from the initiative, receiving fair prices for their produce and avoiding distress sales. The FPOs procured mangoes from member farmers and, after quality checks, grading, and packaging, sold them to buyers at rs 70 per kg. Amrapali mangoes from Dhenkanal exported to Europe

1 2 3 Bhubaneswar: Around 10 metric tonnes of Amrapali mangoes from Dhenkanal were exported to European markets, including UK and Italy, last week. With over 100 women mango farmers trained on export standards, the development is poised to transform local livelihood options through global trade, official sources said. "Five metric tonnes of Amrapali mangoes were shipped from Dhenkanal to England in the last three days. Odisha's fruits and vegetables exports are gaining global momentum. New destinations — Rome, Venice, Birmingham — and products such as jackfruit, drumstick, wood apple and ice apple are growing the export basket," said Arabinda Padhee, secretary, agriculture and farmers' empowerment department. The capacity-building programme by the Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), in association with consulting firm Grant Thornton Bharat, helped the farmer producer organisations (FPO)s in addressing post-harvest challenges and enhancing export readiness. "More than 33 FPOs across eight districts in Odisha have benefited, with support extended to over 100 women farmers on best practices, including sorting, grading, cleaning, packaging and storing to maintain international export quality," said Sambit Sasmal, an agri-export consultant. State govt also provided interventions like subsidies for coolers and plastic crates, transit and storage rent assistance, and support for value addition, branding and marketing. "The knowledge has freed us from depending on local dealers who offered low prices. Now we pluck and package as per international standards and connect directly with global buyers," said Jyotirmayee Pradhan, a mango farmer from Dhenkanal. The woman farmers said they get around 10 times more price from exporting mangoes to global markets compared to the price locally. Dhenkanal alone has 9.34 hectares of mango cultivation, and its potential for premium quality exports is being tapped under the initiative. Last year, mangoes from a local FPO were exported to Dubai. This year, around 50 tonnes are expected to be exported to global markets by June. "The export opportunity has increased our earnings 10-fold. Odisha's women mango farmers are no longer just cultivators but are emerging as key players in international agri markets," said Pradhan, joined by Padmini Sahoo, a board member of FPO, during the recent export consignment dispatch.
