SCR GM inspects stations ahead of Godavari Pushkaram
South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, on Wednesday reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Godavari Pushkarams at the Godavari and Rajahmundry railway stations. He inspected the Tuni-Rajahmundry-Rayanapadu section in Vijayawada division and instructed Vijayawada Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Mohit Sonakiya, and heads of various departments to ensure proper planning and completion of works in time for the Godavari Pushkarams — 2027. He also inspected station redevelopment works at Tuni, Nidadavole, Eluru and Rayanapadu, and asked officers to follow safety precautions at the work place. Later, he visited the Kovvur station and enquired about passenger amenities. Officers were directed to speed up the works under Amrit Bharath Station Scheme. Officers from the Safety, Commercial, Engineering, Electrical, Signal, security and other wings accompanied the General Manager. .

The company also stated that the aggregate value of the said work order is Rs 1,28,34,157.90/- Shares of MIC Electronics closed in red on Friday (July 18). The stock settled at Rs 54.84 apiece, down 0.74 per cent. The stock registered a 52-week-high of Rs 114.79 on September 19, 2024. It recorded 52-week-low of Rs 49.50 on April 7, 2025. According to the BSE analytics (as of July 19), shares of MIC Electronics Ltd gave positive returns of 6.85 per cent and 2.15 per cent in the last 1 week and 2 weeks, respectively. Shares of the smallcap company fell 40.42 per cent in the last 1 year. However, in the past 2 years, 3 years, 5 years and 10 years, shares of the company gained 132.99 per cent, 308.74 per cent, 5542.27 per cent, and 138.47 per cent, respectively. The counter opened in the green at Rs 50.59 on the BSE. However, it gained to touch the intraday high of Rs 53.35 – a jump of 5.02 per cent from the previous close of Rs 505.58. Last seen, the scrip held firmly in green at Rs 52.94 – up by 4.67 per cent. On the NSE, it started the session at Rs 50.99 and touched the intraday high of Rs 53.46. The stock hit its 52-week high of Rs 114.79 on September 19, 2024. The 52-week low of Rs 49.50 was hit on April 7, 2025. Order Win Under Amrit Bharath Station Scheme The company has informed exchanges that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Signal and Telecommunication Branch, Palakkad Division, Southern Railway. The contract is for a project '…received a Letter of Acceptance from the Palakkad Division S and T, Railway Divisional Office, Signal and Telecommunication Branch, Palakkad, for Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of IPIS system at Kannur station,' the filing reads. The order involves supply and commissioning of an Integrated Passenger Information System (IPIS) system at Kannur station. This system, which provides real-time information to passengers, comes with a 6-year comprehensive annual maintenance contract (CAMC). The order is worth Rs 1,28,34,157.90 crore and needs to be executed within six months from the date of issue of LoA. Share Price History According to BSE Analytics, the counter has given a multibagger return of 130 per cent in two years and 294 per cent in three years. It has given a 5361 return to its investors in five years, a testament to its long-term growth potential. However, it has corrected 41 per cent in one year and 38 per cent on a year-to-date (YoY) basis.
