Qatar reach Arab Handball Cup final, Bahrain beat Kuwait

KUWAIT: Qatar's handball team defeated Egypt 25-19 on Friday in the semis of the 10th Arab Handball Cup, hosted by Kuwait, at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah complex.
Thus, the Qatari team was the first to reach the final of the tournament and was able to overcome the Egyptian team, which participated with its young players in the first half of the match, so that the Qataris came out ahead 13-8, and in the second half, the difference in experience appeared clearly and the Qatari team was able to expand the difference until it won the match in which the Qatari Anadin Soljkovic was awarded the best player award.
Meanwhile, Tunisia beat Morocco 35-32, and Saudi Arabia beat Iraq 25-20 earlier in the fifth to ninth places determination of the tournament, which runs until May 11. In the second semi-final match Bahrain handball team reached the final of the 10th Arab Cup on Friday after beating Kuwait with a score of 29-24. The Bahraini team will face its Qatari counterpart on Sunday in the final.
