State govt will fulfill all promises: Anam
Nellore: Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has asserted that government was committed to complete all assurances given to the public during 2024 electioneering in a phased manner. As part of ongoing 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu' programme, the Minister has inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs 3 crore including opening of cement roads worth Rs 1.5 crore, panchayat office worth Rs 22.5 lakh and laid foundation stone for reconstruction of Neelakanteswara Swamy temple, etc in Turpu khambhampadu village of Chejerla mandal on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister has lauded that the one-year rule of TDP-led coalition government under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has promoted good governance according to the wishes of the people. The Minister said that the same will be continued and the State would witness tremendous development in the coming four years. He said that following the initiative taken up by Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh, a mega job mela would be organised on August 1 and 2 in Atmakur town. He said that it was proposed to provide jobs for about 1,500 unemployed youth in various multinational companies in the two-day job mela. Ramanarayana Reddy said that Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy and Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana will inaugurate the job mela for which all the necessary arrangements have been made. Ramanarayana Reddy participated in 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu' programme at Girijana Colony in the village and asked the people if they were deriving benefit from the government welfare schemes.. Responding to the plea of the locals, the Minister sanctioned Rs 5 lakh for the construction of Poleramma temple. He also assured that a cement road would be constructed in the colony. Minister reviews P4 programme to create a poverty-free society by 2047
Markapur: Endowments and Prakasam District in-charge Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy informed that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has specially introduced the P4 programme with the goal of creating a poverty-free society, and called for everyone to participate in achieving the Chief Minister's vision. The government conducted a special review meeting on the P4 programme with district officials at Markapur on Saturday. Along with the in-charge minister, the meeting was attended by the Social Welfare Minister, Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, district collector A Thameem Ansariya, several MLAs, Tourism Corporation Chairman Nukasani Balaji, and other senior officials. Speaking at the meeting, Minister Ramanarayana Reddy explained that the Vision Action Plan for Swarnandhra-2047 includes ten principles, with poverty eradication being one of them. Under the P4 scheme, the top 10 per cent of society's economically advanced population will provide various forms of assistance to help the bottom 20 per cent of families overcome poverty. He explained that the programme involves mentors providing guidance in education, livelihood creation, and healthcare for chronic illnesses, as well as ensuring that families receive eligible government welfare benefits. The collector reported that 74911 Golden Families have been identified in the district. So far, 5434 mentors have come forward and adopted 31367 families. The administration aims to identify mentors for all families by August 15th. Minister Swami emphasised that mentors should be identified to empower every poor family, stating that by 2047, there should be no poverty in the state as per the Chief Minister's vision. MP Magunta suggested encouraging mentors through CSR funds as well. The MLAs and TDP in-charges pledged to work in coordination with officials to make the P4 programme successful in creating a poverty-free society.

Rs 772 crore sanctioned for renovation of 9K temples across AP
Srikakulam: State endowment department minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy announced that the reconstruction of 9,098 temples is being undertaken across the state at an estimated cost of Rs 772 crores. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The announcement came during his visit to Srikakulam district for the "First Step in Good Governance" programme. The minister visited the Arasavalli Sri Suryanarayana Swami and Srikurmam Sri Kurmanadha Swami temples, accompanied by MLA Gond Shankar, and received blessings from Vedic scholars. Minister Reddy stated that Rs 772 crores will be utilised within a year for the temple reconstruction works. Of this, Rs 10,000 each is being provided to 5,523 temples for incense, lamps, and offerings, amounting to a total of ₹66.27 crores. In Srikakulam district, five new temples have been included under this initiative. Additionally, three temples are being reconstructed with an allocation of Rs 5 crore, for which proposals have already been prepared. He affirmed that the government is committed to developing the region spiritually. In Srikakulam district alone, Rs 1.96 crore has already been allocated for reconstruction, and Rs 12.75 crore sanctioned for 20 new works. A further Rs 10,000 each is being given to 157 temples in the district for routine offerings. Minister highlighted that the "First Step in Good Governance" programme serves as a platform to resolve minor local issues. He also pointed out that an agreement to establish industries worth Rs 76,000 crores in Visakhapatnam was signed in a single day. Following the chief minister's visit, the temple pond was cleaned to facilitate convenience for devotees. Regarding the Srikurmam temple, discussions were held with the director of the Archaeological Survey of India, who assured a site inspection within ten days. Efforts are ongoing to preserve the heritage of Arasavalli and Srikurmam temples for future generations. The Arasavalli temple festival is now celebrated as a state festival, and this year, the government began the tradition of offering silk garments to the deity. Discussions with central and state ministers will be conducted soon to take further action on temple reconstruction, the Minister concluded. The event was attended by Simhachalam regional joint commissioner Trinadh, Kanaka Mahalakshmi Temple EO Shobharani, Gaara tahsildar Chakravarti and others.

Temples to be revamped in AP with Rs 500 crore
Visakhapatnam: Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said that a number of development works will be carried out in temples across Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media in Visakhapatnam on Friday after visiting Simhachalam Devasthanam, the minister said, 'A massive temple revamping exercise has been taken up in the state to the tune of Rs.500 crore. They will be completed following strict timelines and officials were told to wrap up the exercise in 18 to 24 months.' The NDA government is keen on developing temples and maintaining quality standards in the premises. Soon, trust boards and committees would be formed for the temples as the tenure of a few committees are going to be completed next. The significance of temples saw a new high in Andhra Pradesh after the NDA government came to power, the minister emphasised. In about 5,600 temples, the minister informed, funds are allocated to perform spiritual rituals and each temple approximately receives Rs 10,000 per month, he added. Also, the NDA government plans to launch 'annadana prasadam' in all temples across AP. However, with financial constraints faced by some of the temples, steps will be taken to implement annadanam considering alternative ways. 'In order to organise major festivals, a safety committee would be constituted,' Anam Ramanarayana Reddy stated. After the introduction of IVRS and QR code scanning system, the minister added that temples witnessed progress. The minister held a review meeting with the endowments officials and Executive Officer of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam V Trinadha Rao, he instructed the officials to focus on improved amenities for devotees, safety of devotees, sanitation, quality annadanam, arrangements of queue lines.

Anam Ramanarayana Reddy visits Simhachalam Temple, Highlights Government Initiatives
Andhra Pradesh State Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy paid a visit to Simhachalam Appanna Swamy temple, where he was warmly welcomed by Temple Executive Officer Vendra Trinadha Rao and the priests, who received him with a traditional Poornakumbham ceremony. During his visit, the minister performed special pujas in the inner sanctum of the temple. Speaking to the media afterwards, he emphasised the government's commitment to enhancing the standards of temples across the state. He revealed that the process of appointing governing bodies for the temples has commenced and announced a substantial budget of ₹500 crore allocated for the reconstruction of temples. Minister Reddy also assured that significant attention is being directed towards improving the security of temple premises. He expressed his satisfaction regarding the recent Giripradakshina Mahotsavam, noting that the celebrations in the Simhachalam Kshetra were exceptionally grand.
