The Royal Saudi Air Force concluded its participation in the Anatolian Phoenix 2025 exercise at Konya Air Base in Türkiye, alongside forces from several friendly countries, following the successful execution of multiple combat search and rescue drills. At the conclusion of the exercise, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force Contingent Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Abdulrahman Al-Mansour stated that the force had participated for two weeks in various training activities and coordination efforts, SPA reported. These exercises demonstrated a high level of professionalism among the air, technical, and support crews, as well as their strong capabilities in planning and executing joint operational missions. He emphasized that the drills aimed to exchange expertise and enhance combat readiness in a realistic combat-like environment, highlighting that the desired objectives of the exercise were successfully achieved. The Royal Saudi Air Force participated in the exercise with two Cougar combat search and rescue helicopters, fully staffed with air, technical, and support crews, along with six air controllers.

The Saudi participation also includes six air controllers. This aims to strengthen operational preparedness, provide training in a realistic operational environment, and foster expertise exchange among participants. The Anatolian Phoenix 2025 exercise aims to train participating forces on combat search and rescue operations, as well as training tactical air control teams on carrying tasks in coordination with systems of friendly nations taking part in the exercise. RSAF has just concluded its participation in the Desert Flag 2025 exercise at Al Dhafra Air Base in the UAE, a key joint exercise that aims to exchange expertise in the fields of planning and execution, enhance combat readiness, and strengthen relations with the forces of the participating countries. The Royal Saudi Air Force joined the drill with the F-15C aircraft system, with its entire air, technical and support crews.
