1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton ENGAGED two months after going public with girlfriend

1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has revealed her engagement to Andrea Dalton just two months after the couple went public. Tammy, 38 - whose sister Amy, 37, announced she was engaged only last month - let the news slip during an appearance the Creative Chaos podcast on Tuesday. Speaking about how her and Andrea like to spend time together, Tammy said: 'Me and my fiancee, we just kind of chill at home.' The revelation prompted a shocked response from host Hunter Ezell who said: 'Hold on, you said fiancee?', before the television star showed off her shiny new engagement ring. Tammy was also proudly wearing an 'Andrea' necklace and later revealed that her and her love interest have been together for 'around three years'. It comes just a couple of months after Tammy made public that she was in a relationship with a woman. Admitting that she hadn't told her family because 'they'd have something to say about it', the reality TV star said: 'Amy's not the only one that's seeing somebody new. So have I.... 'I have been seeing someone for the past couple months and it's going pretty well.' She added: 'The person I'm dating is a woman. So I haven't told my family because my family's gonna have something to say about it. 'I think my family probably has more opinions than the world has a**holes because they be farting so much.' After hearing the news during an episode of 1000-lb Sisters however, Tammy's mother voiced her support for her daughter and said: 'If Andrea genuinely cares for Tammy and makes her happy, then I'll be happy with her.' Tammy and Andrea, who both live in Kentucky, met on a dating app and have 'talked every day since'. Over the past few years Tammy has undergone an incredible weight loss transformation, shredding almost 400lbs. The Kentucky-born star weighed in at 605lbs back in 2019, but in Tuesday's episode of 1000-lb Sisters it was revealed that Tammy now weighs around 250lbs. After stepping on the scales Tammy admitted she was 'in shock' after seeing how low the number on the scale had dropped. Back in April, she shared that she had lost 500lbs after being at her highest weight of 725lbs on the season seven premiere of the TLC show. She said: 'When I was at my heaviest, I was 700 plus lbs. Right now, I'm weighing in at 238. Everybody keeps telling me I'm looking smaller than Amy. That's kind of hard to believe.' Amy spoke about her fiancee's proposal during a recent episode of their show and said: 'Originally, he slipped a green apple Ring Pop on my finger while I was asleep, about two weeks into our relationship. 'I was shocked at first, and I said yes but only if the real proposal was in a haunted house on Halloween.' Just five months after they began dating, Brian made that proposal a reality as he got down on one knee with a gothic ring. Recalling the proposal, Amy said: 'He said something about, "my love for you is crazy, it's scary how compatible we are". 'Just like our matching tattoos say, "scary love".' News of her sister Tammy's engagement comes two years after her husband Caleb Willingham died of an unknown cause at the age of 40. In an interview after his passing Tammy revealed in an interview that she no longer had an interest in dating men. Tammy continued: 'A few years ago I came out as pansexual but after Caleb passing, I just don't want to be with men anymore. 'I don't know how my family's going to react when I tell them I'm seeing a woman.' Last year Tammy opened up about the moment she found out that Caleb had passed away. During an interview with People, Tammy revealed a friend of his told her over text message that Caleb wasn't doing well - before he informed her just 20 minutes later that he had died. At the time, Tammy was at her home in Kentucky and Caleb was at a Ohio rehab facility she had previously been at with him. Speaking to People, she said: 'I was sitting in the fetal position. 'I got a text message from his friend up there and the text said, "Caleb's not doing good. They're in there working on him." 20 minutes later he texted me back and said he was gone.' The TLC star also said she had been 'doing fairly well' getting through the tragedy, and had even made a ring and musical note-shaped necklace with the ashes of her late husband. Tammy said she had grown attached to the jewelry and finds comfort knowing a piece of him remains with her. She added: 'He's going to live on now forever because his memory is encapsulated. 'Knowing that he's with me, it's helping me pass the day. I find myself grabbing my necklace and holding it a lot. When I take off my jewelry, I feel like it's weird, separation anxiety. I start panicking.' Watching Caleb on their show has also provided her with some joy, she continued: 'Every time I miss him, I can always look back at the show and watch it and see what made me happy again.'

'1000-Lb Sisters' Tammy Slaton Reveals Engagement To Girlfriend After Undergoing Skin Removal Surgery

Tammy Slaton has announced her engagement to Andrea Dalton, marking a new chapter in her life just months after revealing their relationship. The newly-engaged couple reportedly met on a dating app and have been together for three years now. Tammy Slaton is also celebrating a 500-pound weight loss following bariatric surgery, bringing her weight down to 238 lbs. Slaton is embarking on a new chapter in her personal life with her girlfriend, Dalton. Just months after going public with her relationship, the '1000-lb. Sisters' star has now revealed she's engaged. The news came during the June 24 episode of the A Creative Chaos podcast, where Slaton casually mentioned Dalton as her 'fiancée' while chatting about their home life, saying, 'We just kind of chill at home.' Her comment didn't go unnoticed. Podcast host Hunter Ezell quickly picked up on the term and asked, 'Hold on, fiancée?' Slaton beamed, held up her hand to display a diamond engagement ring, and pointed out her necklace that read 'Andrea.' While Slaton chose to keep most details of their relationship private, the 38-year-old confirmed that she and Dalton have been together for three years. The engagement comes not long after Slaton opened up about her relationship on an April episode of '1000-lb. Sisters.' In a confessional, she shared, 'I have been seeing someone for the past couple of months, and it's going pretty well.' The reality TV star added, 'The person I'm dating is a woman.' During the latest season of '1000-Lb. Sisters,' Slaton opened up about her new relationship with Dalton: her first romance since the passing of her estranged husband, Caleb Willingham, in July 2023. Dalton revealed that the couple met through a dating app. 'I had just got on there,' Dalton shared. 'I wasn't on there very long, and I saw her and she saw me, and we just started talking—and it's been, like, every day since." In a confessional, Slaton explained that she and Dalton were 'taking things slow, day by day.' Though she initially kept Dalton's identity under wraps, viewers later got to see glimpses of their connection, including a sweet first date at a bowling alley. Slaton admitted she waited a few months before telling her family in an effort to protect their romance. 'I think I want to approach this relationship differently than I have in the past,' Slaton said. 'So I haven't told my family because my family's gonna have something to say about it.' She added humorously, 'I think my family probably has more opinions than the world has a-sholes because they be farting so much.' Despite her concerns, her family was surprisingly supportive. 'If she makes you happy, that's all we want for each other is just to be happy. That's all,' said her sister, Amanda Halterman. 'But I don't want none of us to stop looking for it. Don't just settle. Don't stop until you find exactly what you're looking for.' Her other sister, Misty Wentworth, echoed the sentiment, saying, 'It don't matter to me.' Even their mother weighed in with support, adding, 'If Andrea genuinely cares for Tammy and makes her happy, then I'll be happy with her.' Tammy has long been open about her sexuality. In 2021, she came out as pansexual during a conversation with her then-boyfriend Jerry on the show. 'Love is love,' she said, per E! News. 'I would date anybody whether they're transgender, straight, gay ... It's about how they make me feel, not how they look." However, in a now-deleted TikTok posted in 2024, Slaton shared that her preferences have shifted. Reflecting on her journey after Caleb's death, she said, 'I was saying I was pansexual, but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed. So, I'm like a lesbian.' Slaton's weight loss journey has been a central part of '1000-Lb. Sisters,' with her battle against food addiction spanning all seven seasons. When the series began, Slaton weighed 608 lbs., and her weight continued to fluctuate as she faced numerous health challenges. By August 2024, she had made remarkable progress, revealing she had lost around 500 lbs. following bariatric surgery, which she underwent two years earlier. In the season 7 premiere, which aired on April 15, she reflected on her transformation, saying it's 'kind of hard to believe.' 'When I was at my heaviest, I was 700 plus lbs.,' she said during a confessional. 'Right now, I'm weighing in at 238. Everybody keeps telling me I'm looking smaller than Amy. That's kind of hard to believe.' Slaton has now also undergone skin removal surgery.
