Rangers fan who threw bottle at Celtic keeper Viljami Sinisalo named and jailed

Andrew Watt, 34, was sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty The Rangers fan who threw a bottle at Celtic keeper Viljami Sinisalo during the Old Firm in May has been jailed for eight months. Sinisalo was targeted towards the end of the 1-1 draw on May 4 when a Buckfast bottle was launched in his direction from the home end as he celebrated in front of the Rangers support. ‌ Andrew Watt, 34, pleaded guilty to the charge at Glasgow Sheriff Court after it had been found that he had also thrown a cigarette at Sinisalo before picking up a half bottle of Buckfast and hurling it at the keeper. ‌ The bottle was handed to police officers by someone on the Rangers bench and the court heard Watt was identified a day later due to his "distinctive white teeth." And Watt, who has 21 previous convictions including two football related matters, including one in 2015 which saw him jailed for ten months and banned from football stadia for three years, was told he acted like a 'vicious, drunken hooligan' by Sheriff Mark McGuire. He added: "Your motive was victim blaming. You came to throw a bottle after he celebrated his team scoring an equaliser. "That is his job - your victim was doing his job - the man was at his work. In what possible world could you or anyone else think it is acceptable to throw a bottle at someone at his work? "Had the bottle hit him, the consequences could have been catastrophic, career-ending or worse. In a febrile atmosphere in a stadium which holds over 50,000 people, your actions could have sparked a riot. "It was not just an assault on Mr Sinisalo - what you did could have endangered everyone, man, woman and child that afternoon. "In all the circumstances, to punish you and deter others from acting like you did and to protect the public, I am satisfied there is no alternative to a custodial sentence."

KATSEYE's 'Gabriela' Music Video Has Fans Obsessed: All the Best Memes and Reactions

Photo: Rahul Bhatt Happy 'Gabriela' day! KATSEYE just dropped 'Gabriela,' their latest song and music video, and fans wasted absolutely zero time praising the song and video — and turning clips into memes, of course. The video opens with a cameo from Jessica Alba as the CEO of 'Gabriela Enterprises.' The bandmates are her employees, vying to take over the empire and battling one another for the role. Things get bloody, but the empire eventually goes to someone very unexpected — and it's not somebody in KATSEYE. (You'll just have to watch and see.) Some fans compared the over-the-top fighting to telenovelas, or Spanish-language soap operas, while others hoped the song becomes the band's 'Espresso.' 'Gabriela,' KATSEYE's follow-up to 'Gnarly," is a 'Jolene'-esque ode to someone who is trying to take your place, but you're fighting back. But that's not all! 'It's a play on confidence and on competition, and it's just a play on narrow vision," Sophia previously told Teen Vogue of the song. 'Gabriela' is also a reference to fans trying to create competition between the bandmates. 'We are playing into the whole thing where we're competing with each other because the [solo stans] are trying to pit us against each other all the time. It's kind of us poking fun at that, where we're telling each other, 'Hands off! This is my thing,'' Sophia shared. 'We can't do our thing without the other person. It's six or nothing.' The song, which was produced by Andrew Watt (Lady Gaga, Jungkook) and John Ryan (Sabrina Carpenter), also has a brief Spanish-language interlude in which Daniela sings a bridge in a beautiful soprano. 'The dance for the Spanish section, it's so pretty,' she told Teen Vogue in the group's May/June cover story. 'There's a circle of all the girls, and I'm in the center, and all the girls are doing floor work with their legs, and it just looks so pretty. And I get to have my little moment in the center singing my Spanish.' KATSEYE confirmed the 'Gabriela' video is inspired by the telenovela. 'Our music video for 'Gabriela' is vibrant, colorful, dramatic, and full of heart,' the group shared in a press statement. 'We leaned into the world of telenovelas because they're iconic and over-the-top in the best possible way – from the acting to hair and wardrobe. We tried to honor that spirit while having fun with the concept. It's all love, all homage, and definitely all drama!" The video even makes a sly nod to the group's notoriously chaotic livestreams. 'The music video is going to be fire,' Manon hinted to Teen Vogue back in the spring. 'I think that was the most fun we've ever had shooting a music video." Visuals have been an essential part of KATSEYE's success, and that success is driven by the band's authenticity — both in their work and their wardrobes. 'What resonated with the people so much about our visuals is how much we choose to enhance it and stay true to ourselves,' Sophia told Teen Vogue. 'As much as we love to try new things, every single one of us is true to ourselves, and we always make sure that we're confident and we feel good." (Oh, and did you see Vivian Wilson link up with the group for funny play on the song?) 'Gabriela' is the latest taste of their upcoming EP, Beautiful Chaos, out June 27 from HYBE and Geffen Records.
