Bloomington Bison continuing community outreach with themed games
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — The Bloomington Bison are a month away from finishing their first regular season as an ice hockey team.
'We're continuing to make that community outreach one of our strongest assets of our hockey team,' said Andy Zilch, Media Relations and Broadcasting Director.
The Bison have several themed-games this weekend.
March 14 at 7pm
Pi Day Game ($3 domestic beer, $1 hot dogs, $4 craft beer or slice of pizza pie)
True/false questions with a pie in the face to the loser
Favorite Pie March Madness fan vote bracket
March 15 at 6pm
St. Patrick's Day game – specialty jersey and live auction following the game. A portion of the jersey auction proceeds will go to East Bay United Methodist Camp.
Concessions will have green beer,
Take pictures with a leprechaun or in the St. Paddy's Day Photo Booth.
March 16 at 3pm
Sunday Family Fun Day where kids eat free (kids 12 and under receive a voucher for a hot dog, chips, soda and cookie)
free post-game skate for kids and autograph session with the players
Kids Club Takeover Day – where Kid's Club Members MC and play intermission games, make PA announcements, etc.
