Winners of best dressed awards at Dublin Horse Show announced
THE WINNERS OF the Best Dressed awards at the Dublin Horse Show have been announced.
Over 420 people entered this year's Best Dressed competition. Bairbre Power, fashion editor of the Irish Independent, and designer Aoife McNamara were judging the contest.
Nadine King, from Donnybrook in Dublin, took home the €10,000 cash prize for Best Dressed.
She wore a hat by AnedeCoco, earrings by One Dame Lane, choker by Costume in Castle Market Dublin 2, dress by Agua Bendita, a bag by Loewe and shoes by Zara.
King, a fashion enthusiast, said she knew the dress was the one as soon as she saw it. She said she was 'absolutely thrilled' to have won the competition.

Mariess McCarthy, from Cork, won best hat at the event at the RDS in Dublin.
She takes home a €2,000 luxury hospitality voucher after wearing the hat, by desinger Sinead McKenna from Sinead McKenna Millinery.
Power said she first spotted McCarthy's hat in the crowd. She said the 'hat was just beautiful, like a satellite'.

Janette Kelly, from Galway, received the runner-up award in the Best Dressed category. She walked away with a hotel package: a two night stay at the 5-star Morrison Hotel in Dublin, two nights at The Trafalgar St James in London, and a €100 airline voucher.
She wore a two piece dress with detachable cape by Roisin Linnane, hat by Edel Ramberg and accessories by a local boutique in Wexford. The look was chosen by the judges for its colour and silhouette, they said it was elegant and chic.
Danielle Crowley won the new Irish Heritage & Sustainability Style award, which comes with a two-night stay at Rowan Gate Lodge in Mount Congreve Gardens, Co Waterford, and a €1,500 Jack Murphy wardrobe voucher.
Gillian and Raymond Gilbourne, from Cork, won the Best Dressed Duo. They earned an overnight suite stay for two, with dinner in the Bishop's Buttery, and a €100 for The Boutique at Cashel Palace.
