Liverpool star pictured with transfer target after he's spotted on Anfield visit

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has been making the most of his summer break and his recent link-up with a rumoured Reds transfer target has set tongues wagging Ryan Gravenberch has been snapped with Jorrel Hato during his summer break - just months after the Liverpool transfer target was seen at Anfield taking in a Premier League game. The Reds have been linked to Hato on more than one occasion over the past 12 months in the wake of the impressive defender's emergence at Ajax. That coincided with Hato, 19, attending Liverpool's fixture with Ipswich Town back in January. ‌ It was explained at the time, though, that Hato had been invited to the game by Gravenberch rather than travelling over for anything transfer-related. ‌ The duo have been out and about again with the domestic season now done, with Gravenberch sharing a picture of them out for food on his Instagram story - and that could spark fresh speculation that Hato is Anfield-bound. While further interest in Hato could materialise now that the summer transfer window is open, Ajax are in a strong bargaining position when it comes to the Netherlands star, who is under contract in Amsterdam until 2028. The player himself has also attempted to cool speculation, saying: "I read it all [the transfer rumours]. But I also know that not everything was right. ‌ "For my development it's best that I stay at Ajax now. I was invited by Ryan Gravenberch. But I didn't speak to a director there. Liverpool played well and the atmosphere in the stadium was good, but there is no more to say." While it remains to be seen if Liverpool will try to prise Hato away from Amsterdam, the newly minted Premier League champions are expected to be busy this summer and have already snapped up Jeremie Frimpong from Eintracht Frankfurt. ‌ The Reds are also working on a club-record swoop for Frankfurt's sought-after attacking midfielder, Florian Wirtz, after wooing the Germany star in talks. Bayern Munich were the red-hot favourites to sign him. Further incomings are also expected with Milos Kerkez, the Bournemouth left-back, also on the club's summer wishlist. A new No.9 is expected to arrive before the start of the 2025-26 campaign, as well as a number of outgoings. Caoimhin Kelleher is poised to become the first player to head through the exit door; the 26-year-old goalkeeper has agreed to join Brentford in a deal which could end up netting Liverpool £18m.

That's excluding the swoop for Giorgi Mamardashvili, whose arrival from Valencia was confirmed last summer. There will be no move for Dean Huijsen despite early links, with the Bournemouth centre-back choosing Real Madrid. Huijsen's team-mate Milos Kerkez looks to be Anfield-bound, though, with a fee of £45million mooted. ‌ The other full-back position is also going to be a priority, with Trent Alexander-Arnold on his way. That deal is more or less done, though, with the Reds meeting Jeremie Frimpong's Bayer Leverkusen release clause. ‌ Fans will have their own opinions about what else needs to happen, though. That goes for exits as well as arrivals, with Darwin Nunez among those who could move on in the coming weeks. Whatever happens, though, we'll have you covered. Here are Mirror Football 's latest transfer lines from around Anfield with the summer window just days away. Reds not budging over Kelleher Brentford are among the clubs looking at Caoimhin Kelleher, but Liverpool don't want to lose the Irishman on the cheap. According to The Athletic, they want north of £20m for the keeper despite him entering the final year of his deal. ‌ 'I think I've said it before as well that like, I feel like I'm a number one and I feel like I'm good enough to play week in, week out. That's what I'm looking to do," Kelleher told Optus Sport after the Reds' title win, indiciating he's ready to move on after Giorgi Mamardashvili's arrival. Brentford's interest comes as Bayer Leverkusen continue to look at their current number one Mark Flekken. Leverkusen have appointed Erik ten Hag as their new manager, and current number one keeper Lukas Hradecky will turn 36 this year. ‌ Wirtz told he's making right move Former Liverpool and Germany midfielder Didi Hamann believes compatriot Florian Wirtz is making the right move by choosing the Reds over other potential suitors. Wirtz is expected to join Liverpool in a club record move, worth upwards of £85m. "Florian Wirtz has made a decision. I believe it's the right one," the Champions League winner told Sky Sports Germany. ‌ "Things are really happening at Liverpool under Arne Slot. They'll sign, or want to sign, two or three other players, from what I hear. That's why I think Wirtz has made a very good decision." Former Reds star eyed by Wrexham Former Liverpool striker Danny Ings is among the free agents being eyed by Wrexham after their promotion to the Championship. The England international will leave West Ham this summer after two-and-a-half years in Easrt London. ‌ According to The Mail, Ings is one of two Hammers linked with a move to North Wales, along with left-back Aaron Cresswell. Phil Parkinson's side have also been linked with a big-money wage offer to Fulham captain Tom Cairney, though the Scot could yet remain at Craven Cottage. Ings, 32, found himself on the fringes in his final West Ham season with just one start in the league. He didn't make it onto the pitch in any of the last 10 matches under Graham Potter, and wasn't even in the matchday squad for six of those games.

Barcelona use Liverpool transfer tactic to beat Arsenal in race for £21m star

Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia has been linked with a move to Arsenal but Barcelona are keen to sign him by activating his £21million release clause after an impressive season in La Liga Barcelona look set to beat Arsenal to the signing of highly-rated goalkeeper Joan Garcia after offering him guaranteed game-time. Garcia, 24, has caught eye of multiple clubs around Europe following his outstanding season with Espanyol. Barca's cross-city rivals avoided relegation much thanks to their goalkeeper's heroics, as he made the most saves in La Liga with 145. Garcia's performances have prompted links of a move to Arsenal, Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen among others, but Barcelona have stepped up their pursuit in recent days. ‌ It emerged over the weekend that Barca were preparing to trigger Garcia's €25million (£21m) release clause ahead of the summer transfer window opening this Sunday. The clause is reportedly only valid until June 30, meaning that time is of the essence. ‌ But a stumbling block is Barcelona's goalkeeping situation. Club captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen is fit again after eight months out with a knee injury. Wojciech Szczesny, who was brought out of retirement to cover for Ter Stegen, has been offered a new one-year contract which Barca chiefs are said to be confident he'll sign. There's also third-choice goalkeeper Inaki Pena, who has 12 months left on his existing deal. Convincing Garcia to cross the divide in Catalunya could therefore be a difficult task, but as Spanish outlet Carrusel Deportivo explain, Barcelona have came up with a short-term solution. They've offered the 24-year-old the chance to join Valencia on loan next season. Los Che are looking for a new shot-stopper as Giorgi Mamardashvili prepares to join Liverpool. The Georgia international was signed for £25m last summer but remained with Valencia for one more season. Now that Mamardashvili is Anfield-bound, Valencia have a vacancy. Crucially, the report adds that Garcia is open to a loan, dampening Arsenal's hopes of signing him to compete with first-choice goalkeeper David Raya. There could still be hope, though. Espanyol's sorting director, Fran Garagarza, says that he's unaware of interest from Barca, adding that he'd be 'surprised' if he joined them given Hansi Flick's goalkeeping options. ‌ "I know he has strong feelings for the club. I'm not in his head, but I would be very surprised if he went to Barca," Gonzalez told Catalan radio station RAC 1 via Mundo Deportivo. ‌ "Because they have Ter Stegen and because they're our eternal rival, I would be very surprised… But I'm not in anyone's head, and I don't know what he'll do. I won't tell him anything. If someone pays the release clause and he wants to, there's nothing to be done. What I've told him is to think carefully because what he has to do now is play." The Espanyol chief added: "What I want is for him to go somewhere where he can play and be happy. To be a top player. Not to go somewhere where there's a veteran goalkeeper who overtakes him because of his name. He has to keep playing and be a starter. I hope he makes his choices wisely and doesn't just go with the name or the money."
