‘Landman' is coming back sooner than you might think: See the release date
'Landman' fans don't have to wait much longer for the next chapter.
Season 2 of 'Landman' will premiere on Sunday, November 16, Paramount+ revealed this week. The first season debuted in November 2024 and came to an end in January. Ali Larter, who plays Angela Norris, took to Instagram earlier this month to confirm that season 2 had finished filming.
'That's a wrap for Season 2 of Landman! Our incredible cast and crew is playing at the top of their game,' she captioned two behind-the-scenes photos. 'You can feel all the time, effort, love, laughter, and dedication that goes into making our show so special. I'm so thankful to be a part of this and can't wait to share it with you.'

In addition to Larter, Billy Bob Thornton (Tommy Norris), Jacob Lofland (Cooper Norris), Michelle Randolph (Ainsley Norris), Paulina Chavez (Ariana Medina), Kayla Wallace (Rebecca Falcone), and Demi Moore (Cami Miller) will reprise their roles in season 2.
Jon Hamm will not return due to his character Monty Miller's death in the season 1 finale. However, the Paramount+ series is adding some fresh faces to the cast for season 2. Sam Elliott and Stefania Spampinato have both signed on, although details have yet to be revealed about their characters.
It also seems like Moore's character, Cami, will play a bigger role in season 2. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Moore's name appears second in the season 2 credits as opposed to second to last during season 1.

Cami took a backseat to the central action in season 1 as the wife of oil tycoon Monty, but 'Landman' cocreator Christian Wallace hinted that Monty's death will bring her to the forefront.
'When you take one major player off the board, it opens up opportunities for other players,' Wallace told Variety in January. 'There is a lot more story left to tell with Cami. [Cocreator] Taylor [Sheridan] has big plans, that's all I'm going to say.'
