An Irish dad has become an unexpected TikTok sensation after his daughter shared a video of his brilliantly lazy beach-day invention.
In the now-viral clip, posted by user @annacrawfordx, her father can be seen reclining on a sunlounger, living his best life in the sunshine, with a smug grin and an even smugger solution to holiday hydration.
Using a series of straws creatively stuck together, he fashioned an extra-long drinking device that allows him to sip a full cup of Baileys without even sitting up. 'Holiday hack for everyone,' Anna captioned the video and viewers are absolutely loving his commitment to holiday relaxation.
'If anyone's worried about my dad on holidays, to make sure he's coping all right, here's a quick video of him,' Anna joked, before panning to her father truly lapping it up by the pool.

Comments have poured in praising his 'dad-level engineering' and we'd have to agree, because why lift a glass when you can lift the internet's spirits instead?
