New Britain honors outstanding women in the community
NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — The New Britain Legislative Delegation held an event Monday night to recognize outstanding women in their community.

The event, titled 'Women's History Month: Moving Forward Together,' honored five local women for their leadership and the impact they've had on the community.
'I think when I am willing to roll up my sleeves and get involved and other people see that and get involved also,' Anna Suski-Lenczewski, an honoree, said. 'It's baby steps and it's my small portion, but I think the fact that I can sometimes I can pull people together to get these things done.'
Members with the delegation hope this inspires others in the community to get involved.
