Warwick Davis' daughter pictured with boyfriend following family heartbreak
Annabelle Davis has posted the sweetest snap of her and her boyfriend, Charlie. The actress, who is the daughter of Warwick Davis, has been with Charlie since 2021. Posting to Instagram, the Dumping Ground actress, 28, shared the sweet picture of her and Charlie sitting together. Annabelle looked pretty in a pink floral dress, beige heels and a timeless Louis Vuitton purse, while Charlie wore a classic navy suit as they gazed into each other's eyes. Though the pair largely keep their relationship private, speaking to Sunbox Campers, Annabelle revealed they love to go caravanning. "Growing up my parents and I were away all the time camping and caravanning all the time… "Having grown up with that, it's made me want to go travelling myself." Warwick Davis' new love after heartbreak After the devastating loss of his wife, Samantha Davis, in 2024, Warwick revealed at the BAFTAs that a mystery woman had helped him find love again. The Harry Potter star was honoured with the BAFTA Fellowship earlier this year. He was tearful as he thanked his loved ones for their support throughout his career, including his "wonderful" late wife Samantha, his two children – Annabelle and Harrison – and someone he affectionately nicknamed "Sponge". Hinting at a potential new relationship, Warwick got particularly choked up as he said: "Special mention, too, should go to Sponge, you know who you are. Thank you for showing me that life can still have meaning, and for helping me to laugh and to love again." Though he's keeping Sponge's identity a mystery, he did reveal on the Jonathan Ross Show that his new girlfriend reminds him of Daisy May Cooper's character Kerry Mucklowe in BBC mockumentary series This Country. Warwick's late wife Warwick faced immense heartbreak when his wife, Samantha, died aged 53 in March 2024. Confirming the sad news, the Willow star released an official statement on his wife of 23 years, which said: "My wife and soul-mate, best friend. Devoted mother, My favourite human. My most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career, has passed. "The most open, warm person I have ever known. Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs. She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life. She had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes. Samantha and Warwick's two children, Harrison, 21, and Annabelle, 28, joined their dad in the tribute after losing their mum. "Mum is our best friend and we're honoured to have received a love like hers. Her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives." Before Samantha's passing, the family of four were often spotted together at events and film premieres and it was clear that they all had an extremely close relationship.

Warwick Davis' daughter Annabelle cosies up to boyfriend Charlie in sweet snap - after her father revealed he'd found love again following wife's death
Annabelle Davis looked more loved-up than ever in a sweet new snap with boyfriend Charlie. The actress, who is the daughter of actor Warwick Davis, first debuted their romance in 2021 and occasionally gives fans a glimpse into their romance with rare snaps. In her latest Instagram post on Monday, the Dumping Ground star, 28, lovingly placed her hand on Charlie's knee as they gazed adoringly into each other's eyes. Annabelle was dressed to impress in the snap, sporting a pink floral dress and patent nude heels, while Charlie looked dapper in a navy suit and pink paisley tie. Charlie works as a photographer and music producer, and the couple previously revealed that they bonded over their shared creativity. The couple also both enjoy caravanning because it allows them to 'get out into nature and nurture their creativity.' Speaking to Sunbox Campers about their shared hobby, Annabelle shared: 'Growing up my parents and I were away all the time camping and caravanning all the time… 'Having grown up with that, it's made me want to go travelling myself.' Annabelle posted a cosy snap with Charlie after her father revealed he's found love again following the death of wife Samantha. Samantha - who he affectionately called Sammy - died last spring aged 53 after she contracted sepsis due to complications from surgery. Yet in February, Warwick revealed he was able to feel love again after meeting a woman he cryptically labelled as 'Sponge'. Warwick, 55, name checked her during his emotional BAFTAs acceptance speech after receiving a Fellowship award. He said: 'Special mention should go to Sponge, you know who you are. 'Thank you for showing me that life can still have meaning and for helping me to laugh and to love again.' The Harry Potter star was then quizzed about the mystery woman during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross show. Asked about the identity of 'Sponge', Warwick replied: 'I can reveal, sticking with the Harry Potter theme, Sponge is indeed She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.' Referring to Daisy May Cooper's This Country character Kerry Mucklowe, Warwick added: 'Sponge very much reminds me of Kerry. Some of the things she says and her accent.' Elsewhere during the interview, Warwick was asked about his moving BAFTAs acceptance speech, which saw him reduce viewers to tears when he paid tribute to his late wife. He explained: 'When you go through your career as an actor, you sometimes become a bit reluctant to do certain jobs thinking another one will come along and be a bit better. 'She [Samantha] would always say "get out there and do it". 'She was great at networking as well, always talking to producers and getting me the work in the next job. Very supportive. 'You need that in this business because it is difficult. You've got to have someone who is very supportive of you being away on occasions and working ridiculous hours.' Following Samantha's death, Warwick's legal team launched an investigation into whether his wife may have died as a result of alleged medical negligence. In April, a firm acting for the Hollywood star said it is continuing to probe the death of Samantha, who died aged 53 in March last year following surgery to treat compression on her spine at University College Hospital in London. A coroner ruled the actress had died of arrhythmic cardiac arrest following complications of essential surgical treatment and from the effects of achondroplasia - a bone growth disorder which results in dwarfism. Samantha had been admitted to UCH weeks before following loss of mobility in her lower limbs after a disc prolapse, and had undergone two thoracotomies - where the chest wall is opened - on February 20 and March 14. Her prognosis had been positive and there were plans to discharge her - but she went into cardiac arrest at 11.25pm on March 23, and was pronounced dead at 12.28am on March 24 following attempts to resuscitate her. An autopsy concluded she had died of complications from a left hemothorax - where blood collects in the area between the lungs and the chest wall - following surgery. Pathologists told Samantha's inquest that he saw no evidence of the bleeding being caused by the removal of a surgical drain after surgery. Her family said she had suffered a 'similar episode' after having a drain removed following a previous operation, and had raised concerns about an 'intense' physiotherapy session hours before she died. The couple met during the filming of 1988 fantasy movie Willow, in which he had a starring role as the hero Willow Ufgood. They married in 1991 and went on to welcome children Annabelle and Harrison. They also had a third child, however he tragically died nine days after being born. Warwick rose to fame as an 11-year-old after being cast as an Ewok in Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi. He reprised the role Willow Ufgood in a 2022 Disney+ series. He also famously played Professor Flitwick in all eight films in the Harry Potter franchise and also portrayed the Gringotts Wizarding Bank goblin Griphook. The BAFTA-winner starred alongside his wife in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, where Samantha played a goblin. Together with Samantha, he co-founded Little People UK in 2012 to help individuals with dwarfism and their families. Samantha was diagnosed with achondroplasia, a bone growth disorder that causes dwarfism, as a child. Warwick is affected by a similar condition, spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita. It meant he never grew taller than 3ft 6in.
