Tinahely's second string should go well in wide open race for Wicklow LGFA Intermediate crown
The Inis – the energy of the sea Wicklow LGFA Intermediate championship will be fought out over two groups made up of Baltinglass, Éire Óg, Annacurra and Clara in Group 1 and with Group 2 comprising of An Tochar, Kilcoole, St. Nicholas and Tinahely 2.

Annacurra have the goal-den touch as they see off St. Nicholas to claim crown
Annacurra 4-9 St. Nicholas 0-6 St. Nicholas travelled over the Gap to the Echelon C.O.E. at Ballinakill on Friday to take on Annacurra in the Division 4 LGFA league final. The game was played in pleasant conditions and was well contested for the most part.

Opposite sides of the same coin It wasn't the widest margin of victory seen in the Intermediate Championship this week – it was the narrowest enjoyed by any of the winners, in fact – but Annacurra's one-point win over Valleymount might just be the valuable of the whole lot. New throw-in times for Wicklow County League finals
The game, between Bray Emmets and Carnew Emmets, had been down for decision from 6.30pm this Saturday, June 19, at Echelon Park in Aughrim. The venue and date remain the same, but the match will now thrown in at the earlier time of 3pm. The game will precede the Division Four decider between Annacurra and Blessington, which has now been pushed back from 4pm to 5pm.

Annacurra's Jack Byrne wins incident-packed race at Mondello Park
Byrne won on his return to the Formula Vee series Wicklow People Annacurra man Jack Byrne has retuned to Formula Vee action with a bang, taking victory in round six of the competition at Mondello Park. With the previous three rounds having taken place up the country, it was a bit closer to home this time in the form of the County Kildare track. Sadly, the warm sunshine that drivers had in Bishopscourt last time out did not last and was replaced with a heavy showers of rain for qualifying.
