Inside Five Stylish Hotel Rooms Designed By Iconic Luxury Brands

The Roche Bobois-designed villa at Skyline Villas in Turks & Caicos Skyline Villas Couture and designer brands have a new showroom—the hotel guestroom—offering guests a chance to immerse themselves in artfully designed spaces furnished with unique pieces. Admirers of Paris-based Roche Bobois will love the new all-villa boutique resort Skyline Villas in Turks and Caicos which is entirely furnished with collectible pieces from the company. Anne Coppenrath, developer of Skyline Villas, explains why they opted to go all-in with one brand, 'We wanted guests to immerse themselves in this unique design and living concept and creating an unparalleled stay and integrating our favorite designer brand was part of that commitment. We love the brand and designed our own home with this furniture, which is simply fun.' If sleeping with a designer revs your engine, here are a few more destinations to add to your list: Roche Bobois dining room at Skyline Villas Skyline Villas Artsy, eclectic sophistication courtesy of Roche Bobois is showcased at Skyline Villas, the newest property in Turks and Caicos. The collection of six three and five-bedroom villas enjoys a premium cliffside perch with luxe amenities such as butler service and private chefs, and while the Caribbean vistas are compliments of mother nature Roche Bobois gets credit for the rest. Entire villas are furnished with pieces from the desinger's collection, and, says Anne Coppenrath, who selected the Paris-based brand because of its uniqueness, 'it consists of many different collections, as each designer brings his or her own ideas to the table. As a result, it never gets boring in the Roche Bobois world.' Main living spaces are furnished with Mah Jong pieces—designer-created multi-textured sofas that look like modern art installations. Pieces with carpets and accessories with exotic trippy splashes of color are courtesy of the Bombom collection, and the Bubble collection features distinctive, handmade curvaceous sofas and chairs. Even the turquoise outdoor furniture was selected to reflect the vivid blues of the Caribbean. The furniture is not exclusively made for the villas but comes from the latest Roche Bobois collections. Lobby at Lafayette Matt kisiday San Diego's iconic Lafayette Hotel features the unmistakable bold, maximalist textiles from House of Hackney, a British interiors brand known for their exotic prints, fabrics, wallpaper, home accessories, and clothing design; they are also a B Corp rated company. The hotel's complete overhaul—its first proper restoration since opening in 1946—brims with House of Hackney's vivid design aesthetic. Guestrooms and spaces are a riotous composition of animal print, florals, fringe, velvet and silk, yielding the sense of being ensconced in the vivid, textural energy that defines the brand. Leigh Salem, Partner at Brooklyn-based Post Company which oversaw the design of The Lafayette, explains the vision, 'House of Hackney fabrics reflect a quality of detail and intricacy in their patterns and products that deeply resonates with us. The Lafayette has always been an expression of layering, reinvention of historical references, all in ode to the grand hotel.' An icon deserves intricacy, impact and feeling. The last space to be unveiled Le Horse, soon the be the newest restaurant in the hotel, will feature the brand as well, slated to open in 2025. Forest bathing with an urban twist sits deep in the splendor of 60-acre birch forest in Kennebunkport Maine at the award-winning luxury resort Hidden Pond. Here, 20 one-bedroom bungalows are clad in fashion designer Todd Snyder's signature motifs of military camouflage, menswear plaids, and his exclusive red-and-black Heritage Plaid (designed in collaboration with L.L. Bean). Elements are woven into each cottage's design, making appearances on the oversize wingback chairs, custom Stephen Kenn benches crafted from repurposed Army tents and plaid window treatments that frame the forest views. Each 650 square-foot bungalow features floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, an outdoor rain shower, screened-in porch with a cozy daybed, marble bathroom, and ample windows to best enjoy the surrounding forested landscape. Snyder also created a custom Spotify playlist featuring his personal favorites, as well as a dark and stormy cocktail kit - Snyder's favorite libation. Guests can accessorize their stay with exclusive co-branded merchandise in the room, including rock glasses, leather jewelry trays, and small charcuterie boards. 'As one of the premier luxury resorts in Kennebunkport, we seek to create unrivaled and unexpected experiences for all types of travelers,' says Emily Nelson, General Manager of Kennebunkport Resort Collection. SLS Baha Mar x Restoration Hardware Restoration Hardware brings their chic, stylish look to the interiors of the newly renovated SLS Baha Mar. Located along a quiet, sandy stretch of Nassau's Cable Beach, the property just put the finishing touches on a complete renovation of 299 guest rooms, suites, and residences—all entirely furnished by Restoration Hardware. Graeme Davis, President of Baha Mar loves the brand's 'bold designs, refined furnishings and effortlessly chic aesthetic,' noting that it's a perfect complement to SLS Baha Mar's vision of merging unparalleled luxury with a touch of playful whimsy. The bespoke furnishings were custom made by Restoration Hardware specifically for the resort and cannot be purchased elsewhere. Consider the sinuous lines of Restoration Hardware's popular Sylvain sofa—which for the hotel was reimagined as a sleeper with plush pull-out beds. The hotel's signature bed is the sleek sculpturally minimalist Copenhagen bed by Restoration Hardware, but this one has a slightly modified base for enhanced functionality. Underfoot, guests can enjoy sensuous custom rugs from the RH Raku collection. When you aren't reclining on your curvilinear sofa sleeper, pop into the state-of the-art fitness center for a workout and an IV recovery drip or dip into one of the property's three pools. Ralph Lauren x Round Hill Jamaica Imbued with history and tradition dating back to 1953, this iconic Jamaican resort in Montego Bay has long been home to celebrities, artists, royals and politicians (Think JFK, Bob Hope, Clark Gable, Hedy Lamarr) so it makes sense that the icon of relaxed sophistication himself, Ralph Lauren, designed the resorts 36 oceanfront rooms. Lauren, who is also a proud villa owner at Round Hill, has been instrumental in shaping the hotel's design, infusing it with his elegant but preppy style. The ocean view rooms feature his influence most of all with bamboo four poster beds clad in bleach white linens contrasted with pops of navy and pink color. The textiles in these rooms are all from Lauren's Home Collection, a collection that was inspired by his experience in Jamaica. Most recently, the hotel renovated the aptly named Ralph Lauren Cocktail Bar—a space devoted to his timeless style with bench seating clad in striped Lauren fabrics and a grand wall of black and white photographs of the famous names who have frequented the resort over the years.
