Amidst all the available tools in the game, the Anti-Rope Cannon has to be the most OP item one can have as it instantly makes the mountain climbing journey into walking in the park. However, finding this item is not as easy as using it.

Just like the Scoutmaster's Bugle, the Anti-Rope Cannon is a rare item in PEAK, and these things are pretty hard to find in the game as their spawn rates are pretty low. That is why you won't randomly get this essential cannon in Regular Luggage Cases.
Yes, you can explore the terrain as long as you want, and you might actually get your hands on one. But it will take a lot of sweat to break. However, if you look into two specific places, you can increase your chances of getting the Anti-Rope Cannon.
The first one is the Ancient Statue which spawns at the summit of each level, which is situated near the marshmallow campfire. And the second one is the Ancient Chest. However, unlike the Ancient Statue, the Ancient Chest doesn't spawn on regular occurrence.
Still, the odds are higher in the Shore or in the Tropics to find these chests. If you manage to find any of these, then you might get the Anti-Rope Cannon. However, beware of opening the Ancient Chest because it concedes your health.
Now let's talk about how to use the Anti-Rope Cannon. Seeing the difficulties to find this tool, you might have already understood the significance of this cannon. Actually this is a literal cheat code, with which scaling large peaks doesn't seem to be a problem anymore.

The Anti-Rope Cannon functions exactly the opposite of the conventional Rope Cannon. Whenever you feel a cliff impossible to be scaled, just face the Anti-Rope Cannon upwards, and shoot it. After that, a levitating rope will extend, which you can grab and climb up to finally reach the top of the cliff. Not only that, climbing up with the Anti-Rope Cannon drains a lot less stamina than climbing in a conventional way.
