Boy seen attacking baby goose at local park: police

[Watch in the player above: What is Goddard's Law?] STOW, Ohio (WJW) — Stow police are looking for a boy accused of killing a baby goose in a disturbing fashion at a local park late last week. A tipster reportedly captured video showing the boy 'harassing and harming' a goose and babies, and shared it with police, according to a Facebook post by Stow police. The juvenile then 'ran to his bike and took off,' reads the report. Officers who responded to the park searched but did not find him. The boy is believed to be 'middle school-aged,' between 10 and 14 years old and was described as having black hair and wearing a light blue shirt and black shorts, according to police. He was seen riding a black bicycle with green highlights or trim, as seen in the photos below: 2 arrested in latest Parma flamingo theft Police are now asking for the public's help in identifying him. 'For the sake of the juvenile it is important that we speak to him and his parents,' reads the Facebook post. Anyone with information is asked to call officer Antonio Johnson at 330-689-5700. Several species of geese — including Canada geese, which can be found in Ohio — are protected under the Federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act and Ohio law, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The waterfowl commonly nest near ponds and are considered a nuisance species, destroying lawns and vegetation and fouling pond water with feces. Ohioans are urged not to feed geese, as they can become accustomed to humans, leading to attacks on humans and pets. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. 3-star OL Antonio Johnson signs with MSU Football

Michigan State football officially added to its trenches on Wednesday. Three-star offensive lineman Antonio Johnson signed with the Spartans on Wednesday as part of National Signing Day. Johnson recently verbally committed to Michigan State, and he made it official on Wednesday. Johnson hails from Orchard Lake, Mich. and was teammates at Orchard Lake St. Mary's with a handful of other Michigan State 2025 commits. Johnson ranks as the No. 75 interior offensive lineman in 247Sports' rankings for the 2025 class. He's also listed as the No. 15 player from Michigan in the class. Johnson has an 87 rating on 247Sports. Michigan State picked up Johnson's commitment over nearly 20 other schools that extended him an offer, according to 247Sports. Other notable programs to offer Johnson are Boston College, Illinois, Maryland, Penn State, West Virginia, Central Michigan, Toledo, Ohio and Miami (OH). Michigan State football signs Orchard Lake St. Mary's duo Bryson Williams, Antonio Johnson

Michigan State football's 2025 recruiting class officially grew by two Wednesday. Wide receiver/defensive back Bryson Williams and offensive lineman Antonio Johnson both signed their agreements to join the Spartans this fall, bumping coach Jonathan Smith's second class to 18. The additions of Williams and Johnson give Smith four Orchard St. Mary's signees in the class. Linebacker Charles White and tight end Jayden Savoury both signed during the December period, but neither enrolled early at MSU. Williams has been committed to the Spartans since July but did not sign during the December period. Their high school teammate, running back Darrin Jones, also has agreed to join them at MSU as a preferred walk-on. The other 17 signees are all three-star prospects. The Spartans' class entered Wednesday at No. 56 overall and 16th in the Big Ten according to 247 Sports composite rankings. The second signing period runs through April 1. MSU also reportedly has interest in Emmanuel Nwaiwu, a Canadian edge rusher from Vanier College in Montreal. He is considered a three-star prospect by 247Sports but is unranked in the composite ratings. He reportedly also is considering late interest from North Carolina, Boise State and Akron.
