'Anwaar Dubai,' a dedicated project under the campaign, has brought Ramadan-themed décor to prominent streets and landmarks, reflecting the values of unity, generosity, and cultural heritage. Key partners, including Dubai Municipality, Wasl Group, Dubai Holding, Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Emaar, Majid Al Futtaim, and Al-Futtaim Group, have contributed to the citywide transformation. Notable locations such as Jumeirah Street, Al Khawaneej Street, Za'abeel Palace Street, and the historic Clock Roundabout in Deira now shine with festive brilliance. The festive decorations and unique light displays are a key highlight of the second edition of the #RamadanInDubai campaign, launched under the directives and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. 'People are visiting the mosques, taking photos, and sharing them widely on social media,' said Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai. 'These four mosques have become a major talking point, with widespread appreciation for the unique artwork. Media, influencers, and the wider public have actively featured the projections on various platforms, leading them to go viral.' The Jumeirah Grand Mosque, Al Khawaneej Mosque in Al Habbai, Sheikh Rashid Bin Mohammed Mosque in Al Hudaiba, and Zabeel Grand Mosque have been illuminated as a key highlight of the Ramadan In Dubai campaign. According to Shaima, these mosques were selected for their architectural beauty and cultural significance, making them ideal for light projections that celebrate the spirit of Ramadan. The project is in line with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to transform the emirate into an open museum. She said that the initiative was designed to 'enhance the spiritual and cultural atmosphere' of the holy month and may be expanded at a later stage. 'Given the overwhelmingly positive response, we are considering expanding it in the holy month next year by including more mosques and introducing new, innovative designs,' she said.
