We're (supposedly) due a calm weekend after this past week's inclement weather – and we can't think of a better way to soldier through the rainy season than with refreshing summer cocktails. This weekend, The Opposites bar has a special array of tea and coffee concoctions, Aperol is partnering on a pop-up with The St. Regis Bar – offering not just the classic Aperol spritz but also the Paper Plane – while new Peel Street venue Sugar King is bringing us the pint-sized best of Cuba. Photo: Handout What: The Opposites looks to answer that age-old question – coffee or tea? – with Plantation Teas and EN Coffee taking over the SoHo bar for the third volume of its Coffee or Tea? series. Co-founders Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok launched their own coffee and tea cocktails on July 21, but for just one night on Thursday, Nana Chan of Plantation Teas, and Jeremy Yeung and Jason Chan of EN Coffee will step behind the bar to show guests just how powerful an ingredient tea or coffee can be with their signature cocktails.
