Get Samsung's brilliant T7 SSD for under $100
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. I recently got a pair of Soundcore Liberty 5 earbuds, and I love them. I wanted a budget pair of headphones under £100, that punched above their weight in sound quality and active noise cancellation, and that's exactly what I got. And I just sorted out a £10 discount for all Creative Bloq readers with Soundcore (UK only – but they're still a bargain at $130 for all US readers). If you enter the code CREATIVEBLOQ at checkout, you'll get an exclusive £10 off the Liberty 5s. It's not the biggest deal, but on an already fantastically-priced pair of in-ear headphones, I think it's a great bargain. The Liberty 5 designers are obviously a fan of Apple AirPods Pro, but that's not where the comparisons end. The active noise cancellation on these things are fantastic! So is the transparency mode. I also own the Apple AirPods Max, and though I'm certainly not comparing them to those, it's good for context. Basically, the Liberty 5s have no real right to be hitting ANC and sound quality levels like they do, and all for just £90. If you get a pair, be sure to download the Soundcore app and have a play with the equaliser. Below is a custom setting that I think really presents these headphones in their best light. Liberty 5 £100 £90 at Soundcore with code CREATIVEBLOQSave $10: These are my most recent purchase, and I really like them. For budget earbuds, they punch way above their weight class in sound quality (especially after playing with the equaliser through the Soundcore app), and boast great active noise cancellation. $89.99? Absolute bargain! View Deal See other great SSD deals here:

Best-selling Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen on sale at Amazon Australia
While there are plenty of high-quality headphones on the market, there's one device that shoppers keep coming back to; Apple Airpods. Quick and easy to connect to your phone or laptop via Bluetooth, this wireless pair are perfect for video calls, exercising and listening to your favourite music and podcasts. Deemed as 'a game-changer in the world of wireless earbuds,' it's rare to score a pair of the latest Apple Airpods Pro on sale, but we've found a deal that's too good to miss out on. For a limited-time, you can take $50 off the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) at Amazon Australia, bringing the price down from $399 to $349. These tech-savvy headphones come with a MagSafe Case (USB-C) so you can charge on the go, and feature pro-level noise-cancellation for uninterrupted listening. Whether you're listening to music, watching movies, or taking calls, the clarity and depth is crystal clear. The AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) also feature an Adaptive Audio mode, which provides a seamless transition between Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode. In ANC mode, external noise is virtually eliminated, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the sound. However, when you need to be aware of your surroundings, transparency mode lets in the ambient sounds around you, all while maintaining excellent audio quality. Shoppers who are regular users of Apple Airpods have given the headphones a 4.7-star rating at Amazon Australia. 'The active noise cancellation feature is exceptional, blocking out background noise and allowing me to focus on my music or calls,' one shopper commented. 'Sound quality is fantastic, with clear highs and deep bass. The noise cancellation is effective, and they're super comfortable to wear for long periods,' another added. 'Easy to set up, and great sound quality for music and phone calls. I normally have trouble hearing calls on my mobile phone, but I could hear everything... very happy with these headphones,' a third shopper wrote.

The Nuance Audio Glasses Are Hearing Aids I Actually Want to Wear
Here's the dirty secret about hearing aids. Millions of people need them. Most don't wear them. Why? Because they hate having shit in their ears. Pardon my French. I often feel the same way. I have mild but measurable hearing loss, and I love the benefit that high-quality hearing aids provide me. But I don't often wear hearing aids in my daily life when I'm not testing products for the same reasons as everyone else. I hate putting them in, taking them out, having them in for hours at a time—the whole experience. As a result, I tend to wear hearing aids for short periods—only when I know I'll need them. Photograph: Chris Null The negative hearing aid experience is compounded because I wear glasses. In-the-ear hearing aids like Apple AirPods Pro are fine, but behind-the-ear (BTE) aids like the Jabra Enhance Select 300 aids don't play well with eyeglass arms that compete for the same space on top of and behind the ear. Unfortunately, BTE aids generally offer a higher quality listening experience, so glasses wearers may have to choose between improving their hearing or eyesight (or just suffering with discomfort). That's a long preface to introduce EssilorLuxottica (the owner of Ray-Ban, Oakley, and numerous other eyewear brands), which may have come up with a solution for all of this: prescription glasses with hearing aid features built in. Hearing Glasses Photograph: Chris Null The Nuance Audio builds on technology the company pioneered last year for its Ray-Ban Meta glasses, which pipe audio to the wearer via open-ear speakers built into each arm of the specs. There's no camera or intelligence (nor an Awkwafina voice option) on the Nuance Audio, as these speakers are meant to amplify ambient sounds captured by the directional microphones and send them to, or at least near , your ears. You can't even see the speakers on the glasses or pinpoint where the sound is coming from while you're wearing them. It's just … there.

Ear we go again! Snag a pair of 'next level' Apple AirPods Pro for $80 off
As I'm writing about Apple AirPods Pro, none other than my Apple AirPods Pro are snug in my ears. Yep, pretty meta. Even funnier? I used to scoff at spending over $50 on headphones. But once I tried AirPods, I got what the hype was about, and now there's no turning back. With features like active noise cancelling, transparency mode and conversation detection, these Pros have barely left my ears since the day I first popped them in — and they're $80 off right now. For something I use every single day, and that actually lasts? That's a no-brainer. AirPods Pro are some of the most sought-after earbuds on the market, and at over 30% off, they're a lot more attainable. (If Pros are still too rich for your blood, check out our comprehensive review of AirPods Pro alternatives under $100 — there's something for everyone.) Big ears? Small ears? Doesn't matter. Unlike the original one-size-fits-most AirPods, the Pros come with silicone tips in multiple sizes, so you can finally get a snug, comfortable fit that means your buds won't pop out mid-run or during a Zoom call. They even include a built-in ear-tip fit test to help you figure out which size works best for your ear shape. (If you want to know more about how these compare with the previous generation, read our full review.) The real magic, though, is the active noise cancellation. Whether you're trying to drown out chatty coworkers or airplane engine hum, these buds are shockingly good at shutting out the world. Battery life also got a serious upgrade — up to six hours on a single charge, plus another 24 with the included wireless charging case. And while these are made with Apple users in mind (they sync effortlessly with your iPhone, iPad, MacBook — you name it), they play nice with Android phones and Windows laptops. So no matter what ecosystem you're in, you're covered. These AirPods Pro have more than 3,400 five-star fans, and with over 10,000 pairs bought in the past month, it's safe to say Apple has a hit on its hands. If there's one reason to pick up a pair of AirPods Pro, it's the sound, shoppers say. "They've exceeded my expectations in every way," one audiophile raved. "The sound quality is exceptional, with a rich, balanced audio profile that makes listening to music and podcasts a joy. The noise cancellation feature is also significantly improved, effectively blocking out background noise even in busy environments. ... I can wear them for hours without any discomfort." "Wow, these things are next level!" said a lively listener. "The Bluetooth connection is seamless as always, and the active noise cancellation is ridiculously good — like, the world just melts away when you put them in. Perfect for noisy commutes or when you just want some peace and quiet. One feature that surprised me is the new hearing aid feature. If you need a little boost for conversations or specific sounds, it really helps. And when you don't want to be fully isolated, the transparency mode is super clear — lets you hear what's happening around you without having to take the earbuds out." A third reviewer said, "I bought these mainly for the noise cancellation feature. It works great and much better compared to Beats. It's on par with Bose noise cancellation. ... A great pair of headphones, especially if you own other compatible IOS devices." The biggest complaint about the Pros? Battery life. Even though it's longer than previous generations, fans want more: "Battery life is sufficient, though it wouldn't hurt if it could last an extra hour or so for longer flights." Some people still find it difficult for the buds to stay in their ears. "I just wish they didn't always feel like they were going to fall out. Apple, I don't even care if you add a piece that goes around the outside of my ear. Just make them stay in." If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.) Hear ye, hear ye: Apple AirPods 4 have dropped to $100, their lowest price ever
As I write this, I have my Apple AirPods Pro nestled comfortably in my ears. They feature four sizes of silicone tips that form a nice seal, and they're my preferred earbuds, but — admittedly — they take some getting used to. If silicone tips aren't your thing but you're all about water-resistant buds with epic battery life and intuitive hands-free controls, AirPods 4 are your answer. They sound great, share a ton of features with the Pros, and right now, they're only $100 — their lowest price ever. AirPods are some of the most sought-after earbuds on the market, and this sale makes them a lot more attainable. While they sometimes dip below $120, this is the lowest they've ever dropped. (If these Pods are still too rich for your blood, check out our comprehensive review of AirPods Pro alternatives under $100 — there's something for everyone.) If you don't like that feeling of having something wedged in your ear and don't need active noise cancellation (ANC), these buds are the way to go. They've gotten a bit of a makeover from previous generations. The shorter stem gives them a cleaner look, and the new quick-press controls mean no more fumbling to pause your tunes or take a call. Plus, they fit better and stay put, so you won't have to keep adjusting them while you're at the gym or running to catch the train. I use an iPhone, iPad, iMac and MacBook Pro daily, so my AirPods rarely leave my ears. While their utility extends beyond the Appleverse — they also pair perfectly fine with Android smartphones or tablets, as well as Windows laptops and desktops — you do lose out on a lot of the features that make these headphones special. AirPods 4 share quite a bit of tech with AirPods Pro, including an H2 chip, spatial audio, a wireless charging case with speaker (and USB-C charging port) and the new Head Gestures feature, which allows you to take or decline calls with a quick move of the head. And if you're caught in the rain or sweating through a tough workout, no worries — they're rated IP54 for dust, sweat and water resistance. These AirPods have over 5,000 five-star fans, and over 10,000 pairs have been snapped up in the past month. "I had some off-brand [headphones] that sounded AMAZING but they never automatically connected and were less of an easy experience," recalled a would-be bargain hunter. "The AirPods just WORK the way you expect them to, which I missed, and am so glad I have again." "I never understood the hype around expensive earbuds and always stuck with cheaper ones," began one convert, "but my husband got me these AirPods for Christmas, and now I get it! These are a total game-changer. They're super comfortable and don't hurt my ears, even after wearing them for long periods. The sound quality is amazing, and the personalized spatial audio makes everything sound so immersive." Said this five-star fan: "The lightweight earbuds sit comfortably in your ears for extended listening sessions, and the intuitive controls make it easy to adjust volume, skip tracks and activate Siri. ... If you're an Apple user looking for a seamless audio experience, these earbuds are definitely worth considering." I concur with this "con"-trary customer's quibble: "I think that it's very cheap of Apple that they don't include the proper charging cable or the USB plug. Apple products are so expensive; you should be able to use the products immediately. Instead, I have to go pay more to get a charging cable." I'll give the last word to Yahoo Senior Tech Writer, Rick Broida, who cautioned: "It ... bears mentioning that Android users are almost certainly better off with something other than AirPods, which would serve as little more than 'dumb' earbuds when paired with those phones." (Check out Rick's full review of the ANC Apple AirPods 4 here.) If you want a bit more battery life and a more customized fit, AirPods Pro might be your answer.
