Michael Clarke's surprising relationship move with girlfriend Arabella Sherborne
Michael Clarke has taken his relationship with girlfriend Arabella Sherborne to a whole new level – by officially making her part of his professional team. The former Aussie cricket captain has hired Sherborne as his executive assistant, a move that insiders say has raised eyebrows in both sporting and social circles. Sherborne, who previously worked as a leasing executive for retail giant Scentre Group, has stepped into the high-profile role while also launching her own executive concierge business, according to The Daily Telegraph. She has since wiped her LinkedIn profile and now oversees Clarke's day-to-day affairs - both personal and professional. But Arabella's not just working with Clarke. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It's understood she also manages the needs of several other high-profile individuals through her boutique business, signalling a shift from corporate property to elite client management. Clarke has also secured new representation, with industry veteran Morgan Barta – managing director of Atarimae talent agency – now in charge of his commercial and endorsement deals. The fresh management shake-up comes two years after Clarke's ill-advised appearance on A Current Affair, where he controversially promoted a line of lemon, lime and bitters drinks while awkwardly fielding questions about his infamous Noosa brawl with ex-girlfriend Jade Yarbrough. At the time, Clarke had no formal management and reportedly ignored pleas from friends and associates not to do the interview. Now, with Sherborne running point behind the scenes and Barta managing brand strategy, insiders say Clarke is streamlining his operations in a bid to regain control over both his public image and professional future. It comes after the couple celebrated their one year anniversary in May. The lovebirds went Instagram official with their new romance in July last year after it was revealed they jetted off to the Gold Coast together in June. They then officially confirmed their relationship when they stepped out holding hands at celebrity hotspot Mimi's in Sydney just a few weeks later. The couple have kept their romance under wraps by not posting many photos of one another on Instagram and only exchanging a few flirty comments on the platform. Their romance came about 18 months after Clarke's very public split with his ex-girlfriend Jade Yarbrough. Clarke and Yardbrough had a bust-up in January 2023 in a Noosa park when she accused the former cricketer of sleeping with his ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards. Dramatic footage showed a shirtless Clarke being screamed at and slapped by his girlfriend while out for dinner at a beachside restaurant in Noosa. A remorseful Clarke later took full responsibility for what happened. 'I'm absolutely gutted I've put people I hold in the highest regard in this position. My actions in the lead-up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,' he told The Daily Telegraph. 'I am shattered that because of my actions I've drawn women of class and integrity, and my mates, into this situation.' Despite the bust-up, the exes 'remain on amicable terms,' a representative previously told Daily Mail Australia. Clarke was previously married to Kyly Clarke and they share a daughter Kelsey Lee. The couple went their separate ways in 2019 after seven years of marriage.

Michael Clarke shares touching tribute to his girlfriend Arabella Sherborne as they celebrate their one year anniversary: 'My best friend'
Michael Clarke and his girlfriend Arabella Sherborne are stronger than ever. The former cricket captain, 44, and his glamorous girlfriend have celebrated one year together. In a sweet post shared to Instagram on Mother's Day, Michael paid tribute to his love alongside a photo of the pair cuddled up. '12 months ago I met me best friend…. She is still standing right beside me' Michael wrote in his caption. 'Happy anniversary @arabellasherborne' he added. Arabella was quick to reply in the comments underneath the post with her own dedication, writing, 'My whole heart'. The lovebirds went Instagram official with their new romance in July after it was revealed they jetted off to the Gold Coast together in June. The couple went their separate ways in 2019 after seven years of marriage. It comes after Clarke accepted the Hall of Fame honour at the SCG in January, nearly a decade after he closed the chapter on a remarkable playing career. He is the 64th inductee to the HOF, with two further members to be named this season. Making his first-class debut for NSW at 17, Clarke captained Australia to victory in the 2015 World Cup and led the side across 47 of his 115 career Tests. The middle-order batter burst onto the scene during Australia's 2004 tour of India, crowned the player of the match in Bengaluru after scoring 151 runs in the first innings of his debut. So prolific was Clarke that he became just the sixth Australian to score a Test triple-century after posting an unbeaten 329 against India at the SCG across the 2011/12 series. Clarke succeeded all-time great Ricky Ponting as captain in 2011. He followed up his SCG performance with a double century in the fourth Test against India, before notching two further double centuries against South Africa the following season. At his peak, the Sydney local was ranked the best batter in the world. Clarke was also at the helm for the Ashes whitewash in 2013-14 and retired at the end of the lost 2015 campaign in England.
