Egypt's Just Development to launch $21mln mixed-use project in new capital
Egyptian private real estate firm Just Development will launch a mixed-use project in the New Administrative Capital next month with total investments of around 1 billion Egyptian pounds ($21 million), Chairman Osama Gomaa told Zawya Projects. Located in the New Capital's downtown district, the 12-storey 4,150-square metre development will comprise offices, retail units, and serviced apartments. Archrete has been appointed as the project's design consultant, while Identity will serve as the main consultant. Gomaa said construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with targeted sales of EGP 2 billion ($41 million) upon completion. HMD Developments launches Velora Villa project in New Zayed
Egyptian private developer HMD Developments launched its new residential project, Velora Villa, in New Zayed City, marking the company's entry into West Cairo. The project represents an investment of 2 billion Egyptian pounds ($40 billion), company chairman Ibrahim Abd El Dayem told Zawya Projects. Spread over 10 acres, Velora Villa includes 62 stand-alone, twin house, and townhouse units, with a focus on low-density, landscaped living. The compound will feature two commercial strips, health and leisure facilities, two clubhouses and electric vehicle chargers. HMD has appointed Archrete as the design and project consultant. Velora Villa builds on HMD's 23-year track record of real estate development across New Cairo, Maadi, Zagazig, and the New Administrative Capital. (1 US Dollar = 50.03 Egyptian Pounds)
